[You know what's absolutely and completely weird? The fact that there is not a single typo in Jacuzzi's post today.

That's because he's so far beyond panic attack he's settled into a state of complete calm because this can't be happening to him.]

i told my parents.

they kicked me out.

[It's not helping at all, and he scrubs at his own eyes because he has to stop crying eventually so Isaac and Miria can stop, too. He has to try to put the think facade back.]

I-I'm sure I'll be happy. P-please don't cry, Isaac. Please don't c-cry, Miria...

[Oh god, what a brave kid. Moving past his grief so he can become stronger! And get through the day! Well, if their buddy's gonna be strong, they're not gonna bring him down with their own self-pity!

They sniffle quite a bit and there are still some tears, but they let go of Jacuzzi and give him big, wet smiles.]

W-We won't cry!

We'll all be okay together!

[Look he's managed to keep the tears in for a whole few seconds.]

I'll be okay guys, I promise. So--so please don't worry about me. You're already doing so much.

[SNIFF SNIFF.]

W-we'll try.

You just have to promise not to worry too much about us, alright?

[He laughs again, with a teary laugh. Not worrying is physically impossible for him.]

I'll try. Promise.

[They burst into wide grins and give him another quick hug. After they separate from that, they gesture to the inside of the shop excitedly.]

Then come on in buddy!

We can't wait to show you around!

[Hopefully, there hasn't been anyone on the street watching this whole escapade of tears and apologies. But whatever, the Dians haven't picked up on any chance of them making a scene.]

[Jacuzzi's had people see him freak out before, many times. He doesn't even think about it or how weird it might seem. He'll follow them inside, though, just for a second trusting that they mean well, and will continue to mean well, even after having to deal with him for more than a few minutes at a time.]

[They often do mean well, but who knows how that can god awry when you've got the Dians involved.

As they enter the shop, the couple gestures off-handily to their shop's contents.]

This is just the shop, where we work and such.

[They then gesture excitedly TO THE STAIRS!]

And upstairs is the home stuff!

Do you guys ever need help down here? [He figures he can start offering now, right? Best to start right at the beginning.] I could lend a hand, and you wouldn't even have to pay me or anything, right?

[GUH Why are you so nice Jacuzzi they can't take it.]

A lot of it is just maintaining wares.

And analyzing things for age and stuff.

[They glance around the room one more time.]

But if you really wanted to...

We'd really appreciate it you could help us move things around every now and then?

[OH GOD THAT WAS TOO MUCH PRESSURE FOR HIM WASN'T IT.]

B-But you don't have to!

Yeah, just relax and don't sweat the other stuff!

[He laughs, and it's a real, good natured laugh.]

I want to help. You guys are already doing a lot, so I should lend a hand. Besides, moving stuff isn't hard.

You both must know a lot about this kind of thing if you can tell how old something is...

[That's probably the first time they've heard Jacuzzi laugh. It immediately calms them down because it's such a great thing to hear from the guy. They can't help but smile a little to see Jacuzzi enjoying himself.]

If you insist...

[Both Dians can't help but blush slightly at the compliment.]

Well, uh, it's nothing really. It's just recognizing a couple styles related to certain decades.

Stuff older than the 20s is harder to figure out...

[No he will compliment. He can hate himself to death but he is full of nothing but praise for his friends.]

Still, that's almost a hundred years ago. It's pretty impressive, especially if you can tell what's real and what's fake...

[They chuckle slightly sheepishly and rub the back of their necks in unison.]

It's not that impressive...

Just the sort of thing we learned in college is all.

Yeah, but it's still interesting. It's not the kind of thing everybody knows, right? I mean, I couldn't guess it.

[TAKE THE CONVERSATION OFF HIM and Jacuzzi is damn near optimistic.]

[They are so touched by these compliments Jacuzzi, you have no idea. And they're gonna return them a billion fold back later.]

We... try to know our stuff!

[Unfortunately Jacuzzi has no skills to similarly compliment |D]

Do you guys get a lot of business?

[Awkward pause.]

A... bit. Here and there.

Nothing major.

Just good clients every now and then.

Probably gonna lose some business after all the stuff that's happened lately...

[RUBBING BACK OF NECK AWKWARDLY.]

Well, you know. People have a lot to worry about now.

Won't have enough time to check out some old stuff...

I'm sure it won't be that long, though! People can't put their lives on hold forever....

[Isaac sighs a bit.]

Yeah, but... things are changing...

Now people know about all of us. Sort of. Things are probably gonna get complicated soon.

[They pause to think.]

...Like insurance rates! Now every city is probably gonna have "giant monster" insurance!

We can't afford that!

I really don't think that's gonna be the big problem here, guys.

[Oh my god. Who even thinks about that stuff.]
