[Killian is grinning! For once! He's excited and really this is just great]

You know that kinda-big hardware store, Thorsson's? Apparently they've got a smithy in the back of one and the owner himself saw my jewelery work and hired me to make jewelery and stuff for them. It's just part-time so I'm still working at the stables and I'll still take private commissions but yeah. If you need me and I'm not answering my phone or the network, try there.

I wonder if anyone has done some sort of study on how many people found their...I guess I'll call it 'past-life mates' by bouncing off of each other through common experiences and how that spread among linked social circles...

Like I said, it's the only logical thing I can come up with as to why you'd be able to read the runes. If you want, once you're more settled and stuff I can share what I remember? You don't have to agree or anything, a lot of people don't like purposely triggering pulses, but if you want.

What does being shorter than my family have anything to do with it? Uncle pretty much towers over me as well.

...I think I had a point there but honestly I'm not sure.

[Also he's really bad with people in general. He's getting better but moving around constantly does not lend itself to good people skills.

There's also the whole thing with the fact that he gets the feeling the Thorssons are a lot like the Ryans and goddamn does his miss his family. He's not sure he could handle that sort of hurt.]

Excellent. I've got 3 older sisters, I usually lose these arguments..

Could be worse. Growing up I had all eight of my girl cousins living with us.

[Fil winces at the idea of 8 girls fussing over you.]

Around your age or older? My oldest sister is eight years older than I am.

Let's see...eight years older, the twins were six years older, my age, two years younger, five years younger, and eight years younger. And that's not counting their brothers and everyone. Mom had a lot of siblings.

[He manages to use the past tense and not flinch. Huh.]

Sounds like fun. I've got a lot of cousins too, but we've never really stayed together more than a few days at a time.

Only fun when you don't have to share an RV bathroom with half of them.

[Seriously, not fun]

Or worse, a hotel room.
