[Killian is grinning! For once! He's excited and really this is just great]

[He jerks his thumb towards his chest]

You know that kinda-big hardware store, Thorsson's? Apparently they've got a smithy in the back of one and the owner himself saw my jewelery work and hired me to make jewelery and stuff for them. It's just part-time so I'm still working at the stables and I'll still take private commissions but yeah. If you need me and I'm not answering my phone or the network, try there.

[A smithy... She pauses at this. Thoughtfully. The jewelry that he made before triggered no echoes, but maybe a smithy would? She's poking around here a bit, but she would really like to know more about her former self who was apparently a lesbian Viking noble??? and maybe that could be useful...

Yeah, if you need to get a hold of me and it's important try calling the store or swinging by. But only if it's important since I don't want to get in trouble or anything.

[She types and rephrases a couple of times, trying to make it sound as little imposing as possible, tries to make sure that it doesn't sound like she's forcing anything on him...]

I think a smithy might provide an echo for me. Combined with your jewelry. [She doesn't know that there can be runes on them, yet; only that they looked Norse, from what she can tell, even though she couldn't find the exact pattern in any books.]

Hey, if you think it will you can get a hold of Mr. Thorsson and arrange for, like, a fitting or something with me? I honestly don't know how this really works just yet.

[And about two weeks later, when everything has been sorted out, she will be dropping by - at the time of her arrival at the actual smithy she is positively frozen with nerves, due to all the strangers that she had to ask and talk to. But she's still there at the door, knocking.]

There's nothing wrong with tall people, until they're looking down at you.

Oh, hey! I realized after our last conversation that I don't think I ever got your name.

[Oh hey, he knows you. You're the guy that sold him his sister's birthday present. And caused those bright pink numbers to appear in his head.]

Oh hi. Uncle mentioned he hired someone new for the smithy. I didn't realize it'd be you.

[ A smithy? You mean a place where METAL IS WORKED? ]

[Killian nearly falls off his bed when he recognizes the blond guy talking to him]

[Killian laughs]

Not so sure how he'd feel about blind teenagers in the smithy, sorry Soph.

Laaaaaaaame. Bring me scrap metal or something if you can. I need practice stuff.

[ She doesn't like practicing with her bracelet what if she irrevocably damages it or something. ]

But hey, that's pretty cool. The necklace you made me was pretty awesome; no surprise you got hired for that sort of thing.

You know, I was at a restaurant once where there was this waiter who was even bigger. And the restaurant had these light fixtures dangling from the ceiling... Poor guy dinged his head on them twice.

Ow. See, stuff like that is one reason I am okay with being short. I'd like a few inches still, but at least I rarely hit my head on stuff.

I guess since I got on to this site. You know, now that I think about it, I got the random numbers in my head for this place right about when I met you that first time at the arts and crafts fair.

Whenever's clever. I can bend metal now! Kinda.

[ It's a work in progress. She at least managed to reshape metal to give Mac a weapon the other time on the fly. Although it wasn't the best, it worked? ]
