And, relatedly, is there a way to control what exactly is echoed?

I can only think that a person could try doing that they have seen themselves doing in one of the visions, and I do not know if there is a way to be sure you obtain the "right" thing. [He'll withhold the apology for writing in what's not exactly a contribution at all for now, probably temporarily.]

It's a mental, not a physical ability; when I did a related thing, I received a memory instead. And unless my former self received training towards this ability, I doubt there would be an exact parallel.
