29th Howl [Action | Open ]
Who: Randall Lyall and OPEN
When: All day at the high school, plus a thread for after school with Bakura
Where: Locke High School
What: School is back in session! And Lyall is available for various things
Though the After School Numbers Club isn't technically in session until the police presence at the high school has died down, Lyall is still available if anyone needs to talk, study, or just hang out a bit after school or during breaks between classes. He has his laptop open to a "blank Word document" which is actually scrolling the network feeds all day, and he's apparently perfectly happy to get back to the daily grind.
Mostly because this way he feels less cut off from the rest of the world, compared to during winter break. Even the network doesn't make up for not seeing lots of people every day to keep an eye on them.

After school
Two hours after, Bakura sent a text.
"I was right. Expect us in about 15 minutes."
And indeed, 15 minute later there was a knock on the door, a somewhat uncomfortable looking Bakura accompanied by his grandmother who was smiling all too cheerfully carrying a sizable bag with a large Japanese logo across the front.

"Bakura. Mrs. Bakura." ((Or whatever her last name is. The app states paternal, so I'm guessing the last name is the same XD )) "What a pleasant surprise. Please, come in."
Yes, it is the Bakura house hold. :) All of them are Bakurae~

Bakura's hands went deeper into his pockets, slouch getting a little worse as he continued to avoid looking at his grandmother.
"We wanted to give you this, a small token of our gratitude for all your hard work with our boy," his grandmother continued, holding the bag out with a small bow. "It's really not much, especially compared with how much you've done for Ryou..."

He accepted the bag, not wanting to leave her standing there holding it out-- it was surprisingly heavy, he discovered when he took it-- but then he motioned with it inside, again. "I really do wish you would come inside for a little. Even if there's no tea, I think we might need to have a talk."

Bakura did his best not to sigh, following her in and closing the door behind them. He was torn between just announcing what everyone was thinking and just.... keeping his mouth shut in the vain hope that it would avoid the conversation.
"Has Ryou spoken to you yet, about that thing?"
....so much for that hope. Siiiiiiigh.

Bakura sunk further into the couch, pointedly looking at the wall. Did he really need to be there for this...?
...yes, yes he did. If his grandmother was going to be grilling Mr Lyall he needed to be there to put the brakes on it if it was getting too much.
"And he's really gotten quite attached to a lot of people since spring," she continued, tone pleasant and conversational like it was just a normal chat. "Really, so much has started making so much more sense since finding out about that thing!"
no subject
Yes, he was inviting the grilling. He glanced briefly at Bakura, hopefully saying in the look that he wouldn't share anything Bakura had already said he didn't want to share.

To say he was uncomfortable with this situation would be a massive understatement.
His grandmother, on the other hand, just covered a soft laugh. "Aaaa, so many questions! But I fear I would be rude in asking!" she replied, tone so very very cheerful. "And Ryou has been so guarded with this all that I'm afraid I wouldn't even know where to begin."
