ok so i see a lot of people talking their asses off about nothing on here, so i'll just be the first to say that something is FUCKED UP with animals recently.

see, tonight i'm just standin on the balcony enjoying the breeze when suddenly i get jumped by this whack bitch

i managed to catch this photo when the fucker wasn't looking but next thing i knew he was back with like three of his mutant freak buddies. i whipped that motherfucker with a broomstick but as soon as tried to stuff it in a box or something these little bugs started coming out all over

pretty sure i beat it to death but once the bugs left those massive chompers were nowhere to be seen. i'd say i'm just losin it but hey whatever i totally texted you guys with a whiteboard lol

i'm giving the poor bastard a proper autopsy before i flush it down the toilet, findings 2 be announced.

Thank you kindly. I imagine you are better suited for this sort of thing than I am, then, for all my interest. The closest I have come is working with sheep DNA in graduate school.

Still, I would like to hear whatever results you come up with, if you don't mind.

I wish I could oblige, but I managed to accidentally squish the one we caught, last night, or so I think. I assure you I will not be leaving the house without a couple stoppered test tubes for potential capture, from here on out.

[And, in fact, he hasn't. But he also hasn't caught anything yet, either... very frustrating.]

You may be interested to know they disappear when killed and leave behind only a bit of hot air. Or else the teleport, with the same result.

[He's not sure which is more likely, at this point.]

[Tell him about it. He has to teach taxonomy to bored high school students, he thought he knew everything there was to know about animal and plant types.]

I suppose that's one theory. Others being genetic experiments, a spontaneous new evolutionary tree, or demonic beings. I agree with wanting to get them into a place to study them, though, or else these theories will just continue to get stranger, I'm sure.

Computing on a piece of paper is entirely possible, provided one has a projector and the right equipment. I saw a video of it last year. Computing on a sparkly notebook which has never been out of one's sight, or some random object that has not been tampered with, is rather another thing entirely.

Not that I am arguing for magic, per se. I simply believe this to be more complicated than simply saying "aliens did it".

I prefer to keep my mind open until we collect more data, that's all. I actually have a spreadsheet of what all I have read, heard, and experienced thus far.

[He's a teacher. And a bit of a geek. Can you tell?]

[Do you hear him rolling his eyes, Coral? He is rolling his eyes at you.]

Yes, I go to such lengths. It is shameful of me, I know.

Mostly I am just trying to keep as much of this straight as possible, and a spreadsheet seemed the most efficient way.

I'm sure they will be very informative.

[Somewhere between sarcasm and amusement, that one, though it's probably bland enough that it's hard to tell. However, he's not sure he's going to get much else out of this gal.]

Well, keep us informed about the results of your dissection, then, all right?
