[Alex was arrested on Thursday. Ravi was working that night, so he didn't notice anything amiss until he woke up Friday afternoon and realized that Alex never came home.]
[he tried calling only to find Alex's phone still in his room, tried PMing him over the network and went several hours without a response. by Friday evening he is starting to become concerned, but thinks that maybe Alex decided to stay over with someone and went straight to work without coming home. he gives it another few hours, periodically checking to see if that PM has been responded to.]
[he knows he worries too much, so he keeps telling himself it's nothing, he's overreacting, everything's fine. that's why he waits until the early-morning hours of Saturday to call the hospital and ask if Alex is around. the receptionist says he never showed up and never answered his phone when they tried to call.]
[that's when Ravi stops trying to hold back his anxiety. something is wrong. so, a few minutes after hanging up on that phone call, he goes to the only other people he can think to ask.]
Has anybody seen Alex? This is his roommate, he hasn't been home since Thursday, I think.
He doesn't have his phone, he is not responding on the network, and work says he never showed up tonight.

Where did he go?
[That's entirely the wrong question to be asking, since that probably is in and of itself the one being asked! Where did he go on Thursday, he means, or where should he be, both of which ought to also have blatantly obvious assumable answers...]

Can we get like a werewolf on this?

Can they track people?

I'd think so. I mean dogs can. If we could have someone pick up his scent they might be able to tell where he's gone.

One ear turns, pointedly. One corner of her mouth pulls back for a concerned grimace - been a while since she's heard a thing from Mister Alexander even by proxy, it's a little of a retroactive relief on one hand that he has been here and among the living, but that sets this off worse.
Little of a not-quite-high-keening to her voice.] Mister Alexander...?
I. Will... keep my eyes and ears out for him. Obviously. That's.
...Really all I can do! [Blatantly fake-lighthearted. It really is all she can, at least that she's aware of, offhand.]

[ravi is glad he chose to respond by text bc he spends a minute just. staring. at that.]
[....right, alex. back on track, here.]
Thank you. Let me know if you hear anything.

[ it cuts out briefly and there's a pause ]
I've not seen him. I supposed he- no, no that's stupid, he wouldn't do that... [ she assumed perhaps he had been too uncomfortable to return, but he'd have said something, surely. but three days, if ravindra were willing, wouldn't be unusual, but... ]
I've texted him but received no answers myself. He must be- he isn't the type not to reply.

His phone is here. He does not have it with him.

No phone... where could he have been?...
I'll take a look around, take my scooter. I know what he smells like.

[Oh, hey, did you know this guy was a werewolf, Ravi? You sure do now.]
no subject
I don't know how this works. Do you need something of his to get the scent from?
His truck is here still, so maybe you could start at the apartment.
