[Alex was arrested on Thursday. Ravi was working that night, so he didn't notice anything amiss until he woke up Friday afternoon and realized that Alex never came home.]
[he tried calling only to find Alex's phone still in his room, tried PMing him over the network and went several hours without a response. by Friday evening he is starting to become concerned, but thinks that maybe Alex decided to stay over with someone and went straight to work without coming home. he gives it another few hours, periodically checking to see if that PM has been responded to.]
[he knows he worries too much, so he keeps telling himself it's nothing, he's overreacting, everything's fine. that's why he waits until the early-morning hours of Saturday to call the hospital and ask if Alex is around. the receptionist says he never showed up and never answered his phone when they tried to call.]
[that's when Ravi stops trying to hold back his anxiety. something is wrong. so, a few minutes after hanging up on that phone call, he goes to the only other people he can think to ask.]
Has anybody seen Alex? This is his roommate, he hasn't been home since Thursday, I think.
He doesn't have his phone, he is not responding on the network, and work says he never showed up tonight.
[all responses text unless otherwise noted bc i'm lazy]
