Woah hey everybody! I'm Jin Aznable, super genius, and I guess I'm a part of this secret society too. Looks like you all hit the lottery! See, I'm a robotics engineer and I'm pretty much the coolest guy. I made a mistake redesigning this surgical unit I've been working with, and the model number was... this access number! Pretty freaky. So looks like I'm also a part of whatever this is.

I work with medical robotics, and I don't really have a specialty. So I've designed prosthetics, an artificial heart, and a lot of tools for micro surgery. Lasers and stuff, pretty cool. Other than that, uh, I like giant robot stuff. And I've got a kid, but I'd rather leave her out of my cool and weird secret society thing. Ha ha. Any questions?

You like giant robot stuff?

You're far from the only one with that dream, I believe. And now, well, you may find that it's a lot less improbable than you thought. There are a number of us with giant robots as a part of our echoes.

It's entirely possible, yes, although I don't believe any of us are actually 'giant,' as of yet.

[He's finding it's far easier to talk flippantly about the possibility of turning into a giant robot amongst those who are so excited at the prospect.]

It's quite all right. It's not exactly something one hears every day. At the moment, I'm not... entirely a robot, but the echoes I have received seem to imply that I was one, yes. A robotic lifeform, quite possibly not of Earth.

[By all means, be a 'huge dork.' There's little Benjamin loves more than being excited about science with other people.

And if it helps him ignore the very real and likely very unfortunate consequences of the fact that if things continue as they are, he will one day no longer be human, in favor of discussing the more exciting possibilities, well, he'll keep that to himself.]

At the moment, yes, 'a little bit robot' describes it quite perfectly. I've a robotic arm, but it disguises itself quite easily as human, in appearance at least.

[The offer of a doctor gives him pause, considering.]

That's - quite a good idea actually. I supposed at some point, we will have to turn to engineers for medical assistance. I've some engineering background myself, but - I'd love to have lunch with you, to 'talk shop.'
