[After several hours of adults being either incredibly angry or incredibly relieved, and several more hours of sticking to his paper thin story of 'we went exploring and some stuff fell on me', Luke finally has some time alone in his room. His handwriting is smaller and more subdued than it normally is.]

Did I say anything about that? No? Then don't apologize for it. Just answer the question. [This totally sounds sympathetic; what are you talking about?]

Come by for cocoa if possible. [She doesn't know the kid, but after what seems to have happened - whatever it was - comfort food sounds good. And it's pretty much the only thing that she could do, not being the best at talking to people.

Hopefully this is an okay offer to make, and not upsetting, especially if it cannot be accepted... She just wants to help but what if it is completely wrong... It is probably good that he cannot see through the very neat, orderly handwriting, because she is very tense right now, which translates to a murderous glare.]

[Luke stares in confusion at the message for a few moments, trying to figure out if he had met this person before and forgot or if he just didn't know them at all.]

[Luke spends a while staring at the message. He's not really sure why this person is talking to him, although he supposed he should have expected it since he didn't lock the post or anything. He just tried to make his message as bland and vague as possible so that hopefully most people would ignore it.

But apparently that hadn't worked. It's a while before he responds.]

[ It's kind of hard to make out what he's seeing in the sketchy black and white chalk rendering. It looks pretty human shaped, but there's a lot of extra lines and shading and it just sort of looks like someone scribbled all over the person's face. Luke recognizes the voice however, so he writes a quick message then switches to a hand mirror he has in his room.]

[In the color and detail the mirror provides however, the picture is shockingly easy to interpret. Those weren't scribbles those were holes in his face and bones and teeth showing through. He's got rotted skin and sunken eyes and all of a sudden that brings up a whole new set of memories.

He stays wide eyed and panic stricken for a long moment while the echo washes over him, and when he finally comes out of it he shivers, blinking rapidly and desperately reminding himself than Anthony is his friend.]

H-hey. I'm o-okay.

["Something's wrong with the image" catches for a fraction of a second and sets in with an acute pang and mental knock upside his own head.

He works up and preemptively ties an apology in his throat just as the connection he's focused on switches medium - and there is Luke, frozen and staring - although Anthony cannot say if it's at him, exactly, and is rendered staring likewise in deer-in-the-headlights mortification.

Until it shifts to a cringe as the young boy - shakes something off. Tells him it wasn't all at him, not outwardly, no, and he suspects a vision, says nothing on that thought when Luke speaks up.

Shakes his head one way with a recoiling jerk and back, voiced strained low.] -- God, I'm -- ...sorry, uhm. -- I -- yes, it's Anthony, ah -- ...are you sure -- you're -- all right...?

[Stated almost monotone and indeed more a statement than a question - even if the original subject and hand was, that did not look okay, still strongly internally wincing...]

[Oh no, Luke had sort of assumed that everyone knew already. He doesn't know how to say this. It takes a while for him to reply.]

[Luke is something he trusts more than others, he knows he younger too.. getting in trouble can terrify ya. He'll give him a video so he doesn't feel so intimidated.]

[Gavin both looks and sounds worried when he messages him, but he's not going to push the issue if Luke doesn't want to talk about it...]

[Luke doesn't really want to talk about it, but if he's going to talk to anyone, it would be Gavin. He sheepishly grabs a mirror and switches over to video himself, figuring that it'd be easier not to have to write everything out.

The video shows a pale and subdued looking Luke, a nasty purple bruise rising on the right side of his face. He's looking down at the floor, picking absently at an arm instead of making eye contact. When he speaks it all comes out in a quiet rush.]

We went exploring after the earthquake and ran into a bad guy and he threw something at me so I tackled him, and he hit me a few times and one of Phillip's shadow monsters showed up and I panicked and used Din's Fire um twice because he started screaming a lot and then he died.

[He's not shaking exactly, but all the while he was talking his posture was slowly worsening, his shoulders and back all curling inwards until at the end he's condensed into the smallest point he can manage.]

[Oh no oh no oh no. At least she's not on voice. If she was on voice Luke might cry. He doesn't think he could take any more yelling right now. But written down he can handle this.[

and we got in a fight with a guy
no Phillip- [Well actually yes. He did do something weird but Luke doesn't want to blame him for anything. There's an abrupt and long pause before Luke continues writing.] - he didn't make anything worse.
