[After going through the network a bit Maggie is well. A touch unsettled. More than a touch, really. This is voice only since she isn't about to go showing her face off to anyone. She's booted up a voice modifier on her laptop for extra caution--though that may make it a touch difficult to differentiate between the two people speaking.]

So. This isn't the first time my friend and I have come across this thing. Personally speaking I was a little freaked out about it.

[ Kavi is not much better off. he has no issue with the extra precautions taken. they do not know what this is really all about. no reason to take further risks by revealing their identities so quickly. ]

Not to mention that everything that we've read so far is... It's a little hard to believe it's not some elaborate prank or hoax.

Given how this [What to even refer to it as] network? Is accessed, and some of the things we have read we've been able to figure out that it isn't so. So I guess what we're seeking are answers, if anyone is willing to share them.

Answers and maybe assurance that we are not losing our minds. [ chuckle. this is nerve wracking! ]

Yea that. That would be nice. [Her laugh is more just a unsure huff.]

Not that I know of. The only way to be completely safe is to just keep your head down.

I'll do my best then. See if I can just try to continue living my life as normally as possible. I'm still a bit unclear as to what their goal is. Are they simply trying to get rid of us?

Honestly, I don't think anybody knows. Any more than we know why we keep having flashbacks to things that never happened, or why we keep changing.

Is there any way to prevent these changes? From what I have heard some of them sound pretty uncomfortable.

No. They're a real pain, but there's nothing you can do to prevent them.

Hm. Guess I should have figured that. Doubtless it would have been mentioned on the FAQ if there was a known way.

I'm not really sure what else to ask. I feel like there is so much more but my mind if already reeling from the information we've been given. Is there anything in the FAQ that hasn't been covered that you think we should know?

Nothing I can think of. Just be careful, keep quiet, and you should be fine.

Alexa! Wow, you are a part of this too? Small city. Not that I'd really want anyone in danger, but it's nice to have someone familiar. Did you know about this back when we were roomies too?

No, only the last few months. I had my first echo when I was a kid, but I didn't realize it meant anything until recently.

[As...troublesome as her former roommate could be, it was comforting to really know someone else involved in this.]

That's how it was for me too. Until now all this was explained I didn't even really realize what happened back then.

Wow, knowing someone else who has actually been involved with this makes it seem all the more real. I guess a part of me is still expecting to wake up.

Safe, yes. Freaking out, though. I've had a change, and it's...uncomfortable.

My eyes changed. I keep getting weird looks, it's sort of freaking me out.

[After Applebees with Kavi, Maggie heads right on over. The library is a very familiar place to her, and she's happy to be getting together with her roomie again.

She walks through the entrance, looking around for her but no straying too far from the doors]

[Alexa doesn't actually get off her shift until about five minutes after she should have; her replacement was late. But before long she's out at the entrance, looking for her former roommate.]

[Maggie was looking at the posters on some of the windows when Alexa is set free. At the sight of her old roomie (and for Maggie at least, friend), she can't help but smile. It had been a while, and despite the circumstances that had brought them together again she was happy to see her]

Hi! How as your shift?

[Alexa waved as Maggie walked up to her.]

Boring. Long. I need coffee.
