[After going through the network a bit Maggie is well. A touch unsettled. More than a touch, really. This is voice only since she isn't about to go showing her face off to anyone. She's booted up a voice modifier on her laptop for extra caution--though that may make it a touch difficult to differentiate between the two people speaking.]

So. This isn't the first time my friend and I have come across this thing. Personally speaking I was a little freaked out about it.

[ Kavi is not much better off. he has no issue with the extra precautions taken. they do not know what this is really all about. no reason to take further risks by revealing their identities so quickly. ]

Not to mention that everything that we've read so far is... It's a little hard to believe it's not some elaborate prank or hoax.

Given how this [What to even refer to it as] network? Is accessed, and some of the things we have read we've been able to figure out that it isn't so. So I guess what we're seeking are answers, if anyone is willing to share them.

Answers and maybe assurance that we are not losing our minds. [ chuckle. this is nerve wracking! ]

Yea that. That would be nice. [Her laugh is more just a unsure huff.]

[After Applebees with Kavi, Maggie heads right on over. The library is a very familiar place to her, and she's happy to be getting together with her roomie again.

She walks through the entrance, looking around for her but no straying too far from the doors]

[Alexa doesn't actually get off her shift until about five minutes after she should have; her replacement was late. But before long she's out at the entrance, looking for her former roommate.]

[Maggie was looking at the posters on some of the windows when Alexa is set free. At the sight of her old roomie (and for Maggie at least, friend), she can't help but smile. It had been a while, and despite the circumstances that had brought them together again she was happy to see her]

Hi! How as your shift?

[Alexa waved as Maggie walked up to her.]

Boring. Long. I need coffee.

[That got a small chuckle from Maggie.]

There is a place nearby we could probably grab something from. [As nice as cooping up in a warm coffee shop would be, she figured whatever Alexa was going to show her was best not done in public. Then again, Maggie wouldn't mind catching up first.]

Right, let's just take it and go, I'd rather not talk about all this in public.

[She starts walking towards the coffee shop in question - she knew exactly which one Maggie had meant, they had spent plenty of time there as students.]

[She nodded, understanding and buried her hands in her coat pockets. She exhaled watching her breath billow out before her. Maggie usually wasn't a fan of the cold but it was nice to actually be out of the house. Recently she had been spending too much time cooped up.]

How have things been with you? [You know, aside from weird numbers and crazy aliens and all that jazz]

Um, pretty mad. Even outside of...all this [she said carefully]...me and my family are much on the outs.

[It reminded Maggie to be grateful for her own relationship with her mother. They had their bumps, as all relationships did, but they got on well.]

Sorry to hear that...could I ask why?

You know...the usual. I'm such a disappointment, why couldn't I have studied something useful, when am I going to get married...all of that.
