Who: Zelos Wilder (
thewinningside) and you!
Where: EVERYWHERE
When: 11/12 All day
What: Zelos has the day off so we are getting shenanigans, what better way to spend it than tracking down Numbers!
ABOUT THIS POST
Zelos is trying to find people based off what he's read on the network. He just wants to meet people! This is because he's not sure yet if he should turn everyone in to the police to try and cut himself a good deal out of this crazy situation or if he should actually have a spine and stick it out on the side of the Numbered. So he wants to meet as many people as possible before he makes his decision! If anyone asks about why he's tracking people down he'll just play it off like he's a famous idiot with a lot of time on his hands doing all this for laughs.
HOW THIS POST WORKS
Zelos is going to be all over! He will be hitting up the schools in particular, but he could conceivably be anywhere. He doesn't have to have talked to your character on the network either! If you're interested in running into him please do one of the following:
→Reply to this post with a comment detailing what he might have learned about your character from looking over the network. Things like obvious personality traits, names, what they look like, any abilities they've talked about/shown and any clues they've left that could have led him to their location and where you'd like him to find them is what I'm looking for. Just a general synopsis is good, no need for links to anything unless you have something you want him to reference in particular. We'll work out a scenario for him to run into your character from there!
→Throw up a comment of your character somewhere doing something and they can either recognize him from the network or he can recognize them (please specify which you want since I'm still not sure which characters are active/open about themselves on the network and which are lurkers/super careful about letting identifying information get out). The location/scenario can be as ridiculous as you want! He's famous, he will just walk right into your class/job/knock on your door and chat up your parents with some legit sounding lie for why he's come to see you.

"I don't recommend my choices to people, but...I will say you should live your life along the path of least regret. So! Think you could do me a favor?"

A blush rising to her cheeks after being called out on her distance, she immediately stiffened a little, looking awkward. That was why... It made more sense now, why he assumed she would run off. "A favor?"
no subject
"Yep! I want to see your light trick. It's not too much, is it? If I'm honest I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around all this." Crazy...conspiracy...on a kill list probably hanging up in the city police chief's office type stuff. It takes a bit of getting used to! And it's one thing to hear about all this and another to see it right in front of his very eyes...

So much for 'catching up' or whatever it was this was originally supposed to be. Her parents were going to kill him weren't they.
no subject
She knew that wouldn't be the case. Her parents were going to kill her.
Quickly sweeping up her bag, she jogged a little to get at pace wit him. "What are you doing?!"
no subject
"Somewhere private!" He let the door close behind him leaving them in the near darkness of the place. "Does this work well enough?"
no subject
While he couldn't see her in the darkness quite yet, there was a disapproving look on her face, and, surprisingly enough, a bit of irritation there. She wasn't not to like to be forced into things.
"You could have warned me," She scolded with a sigh, knowing that it really wouldn't do any good. He had made up his mind, and she knew well enough that nothing would stop that. Closing her eyes, she let her right hand drop at her side, a faint glow gathering in the palm of her hand. She shaped it with her fingertips, ribbons of prismatic light forming and circling around a core, then she let it go, tossing it up into the air, where it floated with a soft hum.
It wasn't strong enough to light the entire gym--intentionally, on her part--but enough to certainly cast shadows about the room. He could finally see her face; she was not pleased. "That's what you wanted, right?"
no subject
So he watched her closely, not missing a thing in what light she created to see by. This was-- This fight could cost his life. He knows it and he's prepared and what's more: he's not afraid. Closing his eyes he collects familiar light in his hand, feeling straight down to his core that he has power.
"I'll show you that I'm serious! Take this! Divine Judgment!" Feathers rise in a shower around him as he tosses the ball of light he's created, his foe obscured by a blaze of pure brilliance-
Looking up at Luci's ball of light, Zelos leaped back slamming against the closed door behind him. "Ah-! ...C-crap." That hurt. It hurt a lot, but his eyes still looked around wildly for a moment, waiting for that hellish torrent of deadly light he remembered so vividly. All he saw was Luci's sphere, serene, peaceful. Casting light. O-oh right, she had said something hadn't she...
"...Yeah. Yeah it is. Thanks." If his hand shook a little when he passed it over his face, well this was pretty messed up. This was all fucked right to hell. And he hadn't been expecting that.

Rushing toward him, she looked a bit panicked, blood rushing to her head. She felt dizzy with worry--what had she done--afraid that somehow she had done some kind of damage. She saw him trembling under the pale light, and her stomach further sank. "Are you all right? What just happened? Did you hit anything? Oh my gosh, I didn't hurt you did I?" She spoke quickly, voice a bit higher set than usual. Oh, if she had somehow hurt him...

"........I'm ashamed to say it, but you surprised me! I thought I was ready for anything, but I guess I thought wrong. Some adult I turned out to be..." It was pretty sad.
no subject
Or had she become desensitized to this whole business?
She lowered her eyes, focusing and letting the orb dissipate, leaving them in darkness once again. "It's all right. This whole thing..." How should she say this. "It feels a bit wrong to me too. Being able to do this. That it's so natural, being able to use a power like this. It... scares me too, sometimes." There was good that came out of it, sure, but at the same time. "We're dangerous. Maybe even more than the people who we're fighting. And what gives us that right? Who's to say that all of this isn't happening because we're pushing?"
Slowly, she sat down on the wood floor, staring off. Shaking her head, she tried to brush the feeling that she had somehow done something she shouldn't have off. "Sorry, I'm rambling. I didn't mean to scare you."
