WHAT: An outing.
WHEN: Friday October 4th, in the evening.
WHERE: In Locke, at a pizza place and then movies which they might not talk all the way through, because How Rude.

[ Aria's as prompt as she ever is with appointments; a few hours after school ends, and a while before the movie starts, she goes to pick Soren up in Mara's car, which is old and red and has a dangling sailor moon equivalent figure where some people put air fresheners or fuzzy dice. She shoots off a text to Soren once there, and spends the intervening time tapping out messages to other people, rapid-fire, though she'll drop the phone back into her purse whenever he comes out.

Further confusing the issue of What Are We Doing Right Now, Aria actually dressed up, in that she is not in her typical jeans-and-some-shirt combination, but opted for a black knee-length skirt and a red-and-black striped blouse. ...And then a pair of worn-out neon-pink sneakers with bored marker doodles over them that match nothing at all ever why does she own these, so never mind that.

She'll wave whenever Soren reaches the car, leaning over to open the passenger door from the inside. ]

Hey! Don't look in the back seat, Mara says all the clutter is necessary and if I try to tidy it up she'll do something to me. Well, she didn't say that in as many words, but there were threats and eye rolls and I decided not to risk it.

So what's new with you? I got dared to conjure up an internet army the other day.

...Do I even want to know why you were dared to do that?

Ummm. I believe we were arguing about something - well, "arguing" [ air quotes ] - and it came down to "you and what army" and I said my army capabilities were unknown and possibly dangerous and was then dared to, you know, prove it.

Not you, too!! And I have to sort of figure out who would respond to an internet army call. I am almost certain I could probably talk a few people into it, but I don't know what the headcount would be.

I think it depends on what your army is standing for.

I would totally join your internet army though.

At the time it was standing for overruling something Ava said, but I do not know what my internet army would usually stand for. Can it stand for pizza? Is that a legitimate thing to stand for?

[ because currently she wouldn't mind standing for pizza, that sounds doable. ]

I don't care what anyone else says, pizza is totally a thing you can stand for. Definitely.

Probably. I don't think I could really rally a lot of troops to be honest.

Okay, if we were playing together I'd deserve anything I got that way. I mean, trusting someone you're playing against is sort of at the top of the list of "things not to do", wow.

But I'm glad I get a pass! Or a "probably", which I note isn't "definitely".
