WHAT: An outing.
WHEN: Friday October 4th, in the evening.
WHERE: In Locke, at a pizza place and then movies which they might not talk all the way through, because How Rude.

[ Aria's as prompt as she ever is with appointments; a few hours after school ends, and a while before the movie starts, she goes to pick Soren up in Mara's car, which is old and red and has a dangling sailor moon equivalent figure where some people put air fresheners or fuzzy dice. She shoots off a text to Soren once there, and spends the intervening time tapping out messages to other people, rapid-fire, though she'll drop the phone back into her purse whenever he comes out.

Further confusing the issue of What Are We Doing Right Now, Aria actually dressed up, in that she is not in her typical jeans-and-some-shirt combination, but opted for a black knee-length skirt and a red-and-black striped blouse. ...And then a pair of worn-out neon-pink sneakers with bored marker doodles over them that match nothing at all ever why does she own these, so never mind that.

She'll wave whenever Soren reaches the car, leaning over to open the passenger door from the inside. ]

Hey! Don't look in the back seat, Mara says all the clutter is necessary and if I try to tidy it up she'll do something to me. Well, she didn't say that in as many words, but there were threats and eye rolls and I decided not to risk it.

I dunno, mostly the hanging out with people who know about all this weird shit, you know? Although the climbing trees to talk to people part sounds more like, fun because then you can tell everyone about the weirdo you met when you climbed a tree.

To be fair he was sitting in the tree, so I just joined him! But yeah, it can be nice. To hang out with people who know everything? You should come next time.

I'll keep an eye out, then. I sort of don't pay attention when people are talking about getting together or whatever but if you say it'd be fun... maybe I'll go anyway.

I think you can make pretty much anything fun if you go with the right people! I normally try to drag someone I know?

Last time I dragged Travis and Danny, haha. ...No one I knows goes to these things on their own.

Probably. Although not outgoing works too.

Why are all your friends introverted anyway, you aren't at all and that seems weird.

Is it? I guess...hm, it's probably because I like things that they like? I mean, how else do you make friends? You find people who like the same things. Travis and I both like D&D and stuff, and so that works, although we have pretty much opposite personalities when it comes to being outgoing, I suppose.

And I don't know, I talk to whoever I want to talk to. I talk to outgoing people, too, but most of my closer friends aren't.

I think it's weird. Most of my friends are, you know. Less outgoing. So it just seems weird to me I guess. Of course I really just make friends who video game so maybe that's why.

I have a lot of different hobbies, so that might help. Like, track friends, geo cacheing friends, some girls I know who babysit as well, and so on and so forth. I'm not just interacting with one subset of the population.

I interact with other people sometimes. Just, you know. Not doing anything with them really. [laugh]

Well, why not? You'd probably have more fun than you think. You wouldn't normally talk to someone like me, would you?

No, I really wouldn't. I wouldn't think we'd have a lot in common at all.

Well, we are pretty different. ...I think it'd be boring if we weren't, though.

It does make it more interesting, I think. It's kind of a nice change.

Because it's your method, duh!! But you should at least expand your horizons to the cool people you could be talking to. ...Although that might be hard if they don't stop taking you seriously.

I like it when they take me seriously though because it's funnier that way. And if they take me seriously they can't be that fun to talk to, is what I'm thinking.

Oh, they can be! I'm not sure why they're all taking you that seriously, honestly? I think it might be because of the situation, but whatever. [ She shrugs; she'd meant the whole "trolling in a life or death thing for all appearances", but it...still doesn't bug her. ]

It's all about how you talk to people. But it's not really my business except to say I think you're missing out!

I think they just don't understand the internet. Or something like that.

I guess I just don't care about missing out most of the time. I think when it comes to this stuff maybe I should though? But I dunno. Most of the people just make it too easy to troll them for me to care. [grin]

I don't know. Like I said, it's not really my business how people deal with other people, unless I'm involved somehow, which I'm not.
