Hypothetical question.
Do we, as a collective group, have some sort of plan B just in case someone happened to spot something 'usual' and proceeded to scream about it?
And may have potentially screamed in a public place. With several people around who may or may not have had a degree of authority.

I might have reacted a little negatively to it seeing as my vision went to literally seeing red.

But if no one was hurt, you should be okay. Odds are they were too distracted to be able to give a description that could accurately identify you, at least one that wasn't so vague it'd fit half the people in the city. If anyone asks, you can say you were testing a Halloween costume or something and it obviously worked.
...are they still glowing red?
[Audio]
Testing out a Halloween costume in September, in a public place, with what? Glowing contact lenses?
Unfortunately yes. I don't know how to get them to stop.
[handwritten]
Trust me, plenty of people have done it earlier, and they have some pretty high tech contacts.
Of course it won't work as well if they're still like that, so maybe not. Have you tried colored contacts?
[handwritten]
I'm not overly keen on contacts. With the whole, essentially poking myself in the eye thing.
[handwritten]
Fair enough, I've never liked the idea myself. But unless you can figure out how to make them stop, that might be your best option besides pulling a Corey Hart.
[handwritten]
That was my go to plan for the time being, wearing sunglasses whenever I have to go out.
[handwritten]
It's a decent temporary solution, but it's not going to work forever.
[handwritten]
With any luck i'll be able to get it under control soon.
[handwritten]
I'm not sure how much luck any of us have right now.
[handwritten]
Do you really need to kill any sense of optimism I have at the moment? I could really do with at least one thing to be hopeful about.
[handwritten]
It's not optimism killing, it's being prepared. But look, if it helps, everyone I've known who got something they couldn't control figured it out eventually.
[handwritten]
Now that i'm thinking about it though. For all I know, this could be emotionally linked.
[handwritten]
It could be. The last person I know whose eyes suddenly changed like that, it was emotionally linked for him.
[handwritten]
Just what I need. An ability that requires calm, soothing thoughts to make it stop.
[handwritten]
You could try meditation. Or chamomile tea, that's supposed to calm people down.
[handwritten]
I honestly don't have the patience for meditation. Couldn't hurt to give the tea a shot, I guess.
[handwritten]
I don't blame you, neither do I. Yoga's supposed to help, but I never got that, either. Maybe Tai Chi, that's the only one I ever did that stuck.
[handwritten]
Tai Chi? Guess that might work.
[handwritten]
There's probably some classes if you want to look, or I could should you some things myself. Or you could probably download some stuff off the internet, but I'm making no claims about the quality of what's out there.
[handwritten]
I'll take a chance and try the internet first. At least then I can look ridiculous without other people seeing.
[handwritten]
Good luck, man. Let me know if you change your mind.
[handwritten]
You'll be the first to know if I ever want to look stupid in front of another person.
[handwritten]
I can solemnly promise not to mock you for looking stupid.
[handwritten]
And i'll believe that when I see it. If I ever have to see it in the first place.
