Hello. I've already met a couple of you, but I guess now is as good a time as any to introduce myself.

I'm Alexander Bogu, a concierge at the Marriott Grand Chateau here in Las Vegas. Its the same hotel that's letting some of us in the "Numbers Club" stay for free, assuming you can prove to the manager that you actually have superpowers. I don't have any powers, unfortunately, so I'm still stuck as an employee.

The offer for the free room still stands, and for anyone else who decided to take us up on it, just ask for Alexander when you arrive. I'll make sure you're taken care of.

[He then proceeds to demonstrate his new inventory: his sword appears and disappears in his hand, he's suddenly wearing his cape, and so on.]

I can't carry very much with it, and it looks like nothing alive, but as far as I can tell it's like stuff I put away doesn't exist until I pull it out.

[ Today, Nathaniel is broadcasting via a small circular handmirror. It doesn't provide a particularly expansive view, but he needs something portable and he doesn't own a cellphone. And let's be real, nobody needs to see any more of his horrible flowery chintzy living room than is already visible. Ugh.

He isn't looking quite as bored and above-it-all as usual. There's a hint of slightly-undignified excitement in his expression and everything. ]

Loath as I am to take up valuable ephemeral-number-network space, I do have something important to announce. I have created a spell set I believe many of you will be interested in. Observe!

[ Holding his mirror steady in one hand, he waves the other in an elaborately theatrical gesture. For a moment the view from the mirror is obscured in a shower of purplish-white lights, and then... ]

Oh, bugger.

[ ...he isn't in his living room any more. He's outside. The mirror gets turned away from his face to display the location more clearly - Nathaniel has been teleported on top of the roof of a building overlooking the Vegas strip.

Yeah.

After a few seconds, the lightshow obscures the mirror once more. When it dissipates, the view is trained back on Nathaniel back inside his living room. ]

I was aiming for a nearby alleyway, I suppose I shall have to recalibrate a tad... But you get the idea. I have achieved instantaneous transportation between Locke City and Las Vegas. I am also capable of enchanting items with the spells involved, so that non-magical persons will be able to use them.

Supplies are limited. As such, should anyone wish to obtain any enchanted items I will require adequate compensation. [A pause.] And I should note that unlike the staves I produced previously, these are entirely unsuitable for vegans.

[ Which doesn't sound ominous at all. ]

[Haruka's dumb, goofy face shows up on the network, his tongue slightly protruding from the very corner of his mouth. In his hand is a pencil, and he seems very focused on whatever it is he's writing.]

I hope I'm not causing too much trouble for any of you right now, but I had an idea. Things seem to be getting pretty complicated lately...All the stuff with those three aliens, and everything going on here and in Vegas, it's pretty hard to stay positive. But you know what cheers me up when I'm not feeling too hot?

Art! So, I'm gonna write my number down on this piece of paper, and then whatever I draw should come through to the network, right? Just like when we do handwritten messages. I thought maybe, if people were browsing the network and saw some nice art being drawn, it might distract them from their bad day, or calm them down. I know watching art in progress always helps me with my nerves!

So, here we go! [Haruka immediately begins drawing, each line being transferred over the network to show his work in progress slowly becoming more and more complete.] I'm drawing something I saw in one of the memories I got back. I know sometimes they can be pretty scary, but this one just makes me...hungry! [A laugh as he continues drawing. The drawing starts to become something more recognizable--a scene depicting rows and rows of festival stands containing all sorts of delicious food, gently tinted in the orange glow of the sunset overhead.]

Maybe I'll get some of it back one day, doesn't it look good? [Now putting the finishing touches, he diligently colors in each food item with colored pencil.] Bright and colorful! Happy food for happy people. I'm tempted to draw smiley faces on them, actually!

You know, if you haven't tried authentic japanese festival food before, I highly recommend it. My parents make this sort of stuff from time to time when they feel like we need a shot in the arm of tradition. Maybe I can invite some of you over sometime!

[After a few more minutes of diligent work and lots of Bob Ross inspired commentary, Haruka scribbles "all done!" into the corner of the picture and signs it.] And there you have it! I hope this doesn't bother you too much if you aren't interested in it, and...I guess I hope it can remind some of you to try to focus on the good things instead of the bad? Like takoyaki...

I'll try to draw on here as much as I can, maybe I'll try to depict my new memories as best I can? If it's not too troublesome, that is! I just want to share something nice with everyone, it's about all I can do right now since I'm stuck at home and I don't really have any cool powers that I can use to contribute. Hello, all! Dr. Solus, reporting in from Vegas.

Firstly - thanks to efforts of Ms. Tsukuyomi and company, have managed to capture Vermini for study. Unfortunately, organisms died in captivity - [he displays the corpses, trapped in a glass jar] - but was still able to glean useful information.

Spent most of the day examining samples, and have determined so far that Vermini completely foreign to Earth - no known genetic structure, cellular mechanisms all subtly different - suggests entirely different evolutionary history compared to our own. Can still process our food, however.

Secondly - FAQ updated with trials of police officers, alien arrival, and recent murder in Locke. Offered assistance to Detective Strutz, but was refused. May change with time - suspect this murder connected to supernatural events. Should advise me if you feel anything lacking - will add anything else important I missed.
