Jan. 27th, 2014 08:40 am[ John's face is visible for a brief second before he turns it towards the police box in his living room. ]
Everyone remember this? Well, yesterday I got an Echo, and I woke up this morning to find this in the lock.
[ And he holds up a key in front of the screen. When he turns it back to himself again, he's grinning, waving the key excitedly by the side of his face. Finally it's here! It's like he's a kid on Christmas day. ]
Naturally, I've already gone inside, and it's really brilliant. I'd say I was right guessing it's a time machine in disguise. Here, let me show you.
[ He turns the phone back towards the police box as he approaches it, and sticks the key into the lock. The door is pulled open (in contrast to his past self who always pushes it, but he doesn't know that - the sign says "pull to open" after all).
What's inside, is this. He steps inside and moves the phone to show every corner of the room. There's a coat hanger and chairs and everything. ]
Bigger on the inside! It's exactly like I remember it from a memory I got too. It's almost frightening.
[ He practically skips over to the console. ]
I'll have to admit, I couldn't resist pressing buttons and flicking switches, but either there's a lock on the controls or it's not functional yet. Maybe that'll come later. I have figured this out, though. Look.
[ The screen turns towards the doors while he flicks a switch, and they close. There's a brief glimpse of him flicking said switch again to open it. Here's his face again. ]
As a child, I always dreamed of having something like this. Of course, I never actually thought I'd have it. It's a bit like being ten again.
[ ANYWAY. Clearing his throat and trying to sober some. And failing. He's just really, really giddy. ]
So there you have it. Confirmed. There's no other conclusion I can make, anyway. Hopefully I'll be able to put it to the test someday.
Have a good day, everyone!
[ Cheerful wave, and he stops the recording. ]
