[There's a sort of ripple to this video. Anyone familiar with talking to Cinderella will recognize it as the faint and occasional distortion that comes with using a pool of water as a surface for contacting the network. The image in the pool is of a teenager's face. Thick blonde eyebrows, a large pointed nose, and of course Luke's all too distinctive pointed ears, now even more prominent as they've gained small blue hoop earrings.

He looks an odd combination of worried and resigned. He's finally starting to get used to his new body, so when he opens his mouth to speak for the first time he's not startled by the deeper sound that emerges.]

Most of the people who know me saw me yesterday and probably figured this out then...but um I'm Luke. I got seven years older because I...well. Echos.

[He doesn't actually want to get into why. At least not with the general network population. There's probably one or two people who ought to know.]

Anyway I ran away, and I'm staying with Cinderella for now. [Here he turns his face away from the water momentarily to glance over at his roomstablemate before addressing the trough once more.] Oh and I also used the last few days to learn about my time powers. I can go forward in time to the next noon or midnight instantly by playing the song....[He doesn't really think that would ever be useful, but he figured people might want to know about it anyway.] ...So. Yeah.

[It's been kind of a rough couple of weeks, and an even rougher night last night. Toushirou looks a little ragged and tired, but overall okay. Video isn't something he does often on the network, but it's been kind of a habit when talking to Luke.

[He has this overwhelming feeling that he was wrong. No, more than a feeling. He'd been arguing based on the idea that Link at the very least knew what he was doing, and that if he just did what Link would do then he'd be doing the right thing.

Well Link had messed up. And so had he. Toushirou had been right. He should have thought about what was going to happen next, what his actions would cause.

But he doesn't even begin to know how to say any of that. He opens his mouth to try once, but shuts it a moment later. He really has nothing.]

[Toushirou isn't good at these kinds of conversations. To be fair, he's not great at conversations in general, but something like this would have been difficult even for someone who knows what they're doing.]

It wasn't the song that aged me up, I just skipped a few days. I'm 17 because of stuff that happened to me when I was Link.

[She doesn't get an echo, not from a wavery video feed, but it's obvious enough that something bad happened. The best she can guess, considering they've got time travel songs and psychic powers, is some sort of magical timeskip, and she's pretty sure she can guess a cause, in any case.]

I had the stones, and I got the ocarina, but when I went to get the master sword it let Ganondorf into the sacred realm...and he got the triforce. O-or a piece of it anyway. And then I had to sleep for seven years because I wasn't ready to wield it, and now he kind of rules Hyrule.

[He looks down at his feet, shame and worry plastered heavily across his face.]
