As anyone reading this may know by now, the issue of the tainted water has been dealt with. Thanks to everyone involved in the tipoffs. Some notes about the water, now that it's over:

According to the work we did in the lab, the substance added to the water supply can be detected but cannot be filtered out through any known means.

When either the substance or the substance/water solution came in contact of a sample of my own DNA, a strange reaction occurred. I can't say much more about that since this part of the testing was conducted quickly, informally and off the record. But it corroborates what I've heard from Dr. Solus, who's also suggested that it only affects those of us who can access this network.

That may say a few interesting things on its own. I've had suspicions to this effect since I first read about the water, but the fact that there exists a drug that affects only us implies that something is different about our physiology that was targeted in the past month - and it's a good bet that those who were putting it into the water know that. The hows and whys and even the whens, however, are still unknown.

Unfortunately, further analysis hasn't yielded any more useful information. Whatever they put in the water, it's not common.
