I know I've heard new voices, seen new messages, from people who are just starting to connect to whatever the hell this network is. I'm sure you got the warning already but in case you didn't... don't tell anyone else about it, or anything strange you've been seeing. And don't get caught. I can't really say I recommend it.

[Jack's tone is pretty low-key, concerned, when he adds:]

I guess it'd be too much to hope any of you know your way around technical gear?... security cameras, that kind of thing. Some way to keep an eye on things without anyone being put in any danger. We just... don't know enough. About anything. Not yet.

Even how we got these numbers in the first place. Someone has to have set this up. Why haven't we heard anything yet about how. Why. And who...

You think trusting your feelings is a good idea, with things like those statues that've been going up around here?

[Jack doesn't sounds angry about it, just suspicious and weirdly reserved.]

This is different. I've been by one of those statues, it didn't feel the same at all. [His voice is low, uncommonly serious.] Trust me, he's- he didn't know anything about this. He's one of us. And somehow I knew right from the start that I can trust him more than- than I've ever trusted anyone before.

Oh, of course! It was- Well, at first my heart started beating like crazy, not like when you get a new memory, it just... beat faster. Then it was like some kind of pressure in my head, like someone trying to change my mind for me. It was... pretty easy not to let it affect me, though, because I could feel that it was there.
