I know I've heard new voices, seen new messages, from people who are just starting to connect to whatever the hell this network is. I'm sure you got the warning already but in case you didn't... don't tell anyone else about it, or anything strange you've been seeing. And don't get caught. I can't really say I recommend it.

[Jack's tone is pretty low-key, concerned, when he adds:]

I guess it'd be too much to hope any of you know your way around technical gear?... security cameras, that kind of thing. Some way to keep an eye on things without anyone being put in any danger. We just... don't know enough. About anything. Not yet.

Even how we got these numbers in the first place. Someone has to have set this up. Why haven't we heard anything yet about how. Why. And who...

I don't know. But if you've got a better explanation for how we all somehow got these numbers in our heads, I'm all ears.

Not really. I'm pretty much as clueless as everybody else. But as for why we haven't heard from whoever, maybe they can't get on here? That's the only reason I can think of--unless whoever set this up is just an asshole or something.

You can find some pretty easy to set up nanny cams. They aren't the best for detail or anything like that, but they're decent enough, depending what you want them for.

Yeah... [Jack remembers this hesitant voice, and tries to keep it cool, calm, good-natured.] Unfortunately it's the only explanation. Someone who wants to fight off whatever it is. It'd be nice if they'd given us a heads-up on what we're getting into first, huh?

Anything else would likely cost too much and make people wonder what the heck you were getting it all for. Nanny cams you can get in Walmart and just say that you think your brother's stealing your stuff and the guys there will just think it's funny.
