[Audrey gets down to business to begin with.]
I've booked a party room at a local arcade near the pizzeria at [address and street does here] for Sunday. We're booked under the guise of a gaming club so if you have trouble finding the reserved room towards the back of the arcade, the attendants there ought to know it as simply an as-yet unnamed gaming club meeting.
A webcam feed over the network should be available for those who wish to view the meeting but are unable or unwilling to attend.
Likewise given this guise, I would like to learn more about gaming in general. I have planned for this to be my primary 'reason' for having set up this 'club' if asked by others. Anyone who attends is welcome to likewise say they are attending for such purposes, as well as recreational ones.
[Following this bit of surefooted and confident talk, the teen clears her throat and looks aside. The mood fades from that confidence to something more reticent.]
If I may address something more personal...
[She shifts in her seat now.]
I've remembered something that doesn't place me in the best of lights, I'm afraid. Or... ah, the other me. Or the me I was before. I'm not certain how to address her yet. Someone told me to accept that was who I was and isn't who I am now. The feelings however...
[And Audrey sort of trails off lamely there, lips pressing together.]
Unpleasant memories are different when they involve someone other than yourself as well.

[a puff of air and he switches gears]
A gaming group? Should I come in full cosplay?
video
[A lot of things really. She brushes it aside for now to take on a lighter smile, if faint.]
It would depend on the cosplay, I'd think. What do you have in mind?

And honestly... we only have fragments of what's gone on before. Unless you know why you did something, you can't really judge it, right? For all you know, you might have been like... some sort of freedom fighter who had to do horrible things in the name of saving space orphans or something like that.
[Video]
I'm not sure saving space orphans was much of my calling even then. You're right though, when it's just bits and pieces you can't know. It just makes me wonder what sort of person she must have been.
A mixture of all of them, I believe. Honestly I can't say I personally know much about any of them, save a few standard card games.

[There's a long pause, and when he continues, his tone is much more serious than before.]
I know how you feel, believe me, but we're not those people--and we don't have to be them either, right?
Video;
No, definitely not. I had never thought of becoming her but... how much separation can one have when there are real feelings with those memories, I wonder.
[After that, Audrey gives a faint smile.]
It does seem that way, doesn't it? I was more of a reader when I was younger.

And I can't really help you there. My own... echoed memories are a mess. I dunno, maybe just keep in mind that this person can't possibly be you. You're... you. Not somebody else from some other dimension.

I've never actually played Asteroids. You'll have to play me at some point in the evening, even if there's no way I can beat you.

Gaming club meeting? Sounds pretty cool, I might go.
Is it just for people on this network?
I'm so sorry, I don't know how I missed this tag.
text;
Sorry about this, but what is the meeting for exactly? I can't seem to find a post about if it exists.
video;
[She has a few things bookmarked and her first video on this was one of them. The link pops up in a text format afterward.]
There. It's more for support, fact finding and coming up with ideas for how to combat the invasion if it should happen. Plus it might be nice to get to know others on the network as more than simply other numbered people, don't you think?

[he laughs a little, sheepishly.]
Though, if it's at an arcade, I might turn a few heads, so it might be better to just observe from the network.

Ah, physical changes?

Wait how bad a light are we talking about here? Stole library books bad? Murdered puppies bad?
no subject
Perhaps between the two? I'm not sure how to classify it on that scale.
[A beat, then.]
I remembered turning down a marriage proposal from a man by referring to it as going from being trapped in one prison to trapping us both in another.

[ It comes naturally, the penchant for concern over what memories are suddenly brought to light. ]

I'd like to consider it an opportunity. The circumstances may not be thoroughly good ones but perhaps they can be turned into a good outcome.
I'm fine. I'm afraid I was simply taken aback by how cold she was. I believe I understand though.

+1 to what some of the others have said.

And thank you.
[voice]
Unless you found out that you murdered someone in cold blood, I don't think you need to worry so much of what could've been. You're just you, right?
Video;
You are correct though. I am just me.
[For now at least. What happens though as more memories crop up?]
