I haven't seen any sign of them since Monday...

Yeah...I'm working on that. I'm working on a letter to my grandfather right now asking him to invite my mother out for a vacation.

I'm thinking I might look into other places to stay. Just so I don't lead anything home.

That sounds like a good idea, too. (although I'm a little worried that we're going to make ourselves obvious if stuff changes too much.)

I think there's enough people in this city that a handful of people going on vacation when there's been a mass homicide won't be too noticeable.
