1 - handwriting

[The following is messily scrawled onto a piece of graph paper – the words don't seem to be able to keep up with Mordin's thoughts.]

communication network able to be projected onto any surface; likely information uploaded to local device i have on me - bug? invisible contact lens? brain?

in any case, makes much more sense than alternative– can hardly link piece of paper to network. explains why colleagues don't seem to perceive anything out of the ordinary – had a colleague look over my shoulder just now, didn't react at all

not sure how device got here however – possibly implanted during hospital stay? have to ask – what brought network to attention of rest of you?

Nothing to do with hospitals, I'm afraid. I was browsing at a used book store and found a blank diary. The number came when I picked it up, along with the feeling of a powerful heartbeat, and a feeling of discomfort with the sun. I've had quite a few more since.

No, no hospitals at all. I believe there must be a source, it is the only theory that makes any sense, but I do not believe it is a source we have considered yet. Something outside our perception in some way. What else could possibly connect a piece of paper to a city-wide network?

[Not that he's saying it's aliens, demons, or magic... but it's no kind of technology any of them know at this point, anyway.]

It may be entirely perception, but it is defintiely not projected. Or if it is, it is on a particular frequency only certain people can see. You said yourself, the person looking over your shoulder saw nothing.

Unfortunately, yes. We've been living with this mystery for a few weeks, now. There are more strange things afoot, as well. Have you had any point-of-view visions lately, or any strange physical changes or objects turning up?

Impossibly increased sense of smell and a strangely lowered body temperature, here. Plus discomfort in sunlight and my blood has gotten a bit strange. This has been happening gradually, piece by piece. It sounds as if yours was a bit more sudden?

That is one of the stronger changes I've come across. The vast majority seem to be visions from the point of view of someone in another life entirely. Though many of the physical changes have seemed to be drastic, though not very noticeable by someone else.

I've settled on a bit of both, myself. Have you read backwards on the network at all? I can give you a run-down on what's been going on. There are plenty of things to worry about, I'm afraid.
