[Here's a number that hasn't popped up in a while.]

Forgive me for not being on the network more as of late. Certain family emergencies have taken me out of town for a brief time. ... I'm sure you all understand what that means in terms of remembering things. I've been making up a few exams and such since.

[A few minutes goes by, then:]

I believe I have come to a rather difficult decision. It's for the best for now I feel.

[And onward to the meat of this typed up bit of a post.]

It is my intention now more than ever given the events surrounding the sage to continue forward with plans. Time is growing short if what the sage says is true so I would like to plan some form of group meeting in the next few weeks.

Given it is July 1st currently, perhaps a Friday or Saturday evening soon? Those who wish individual meetings, contact me privately.

Both of you have a very good point. Perhaps Skype would be a better tool or keeping smaller meeting sizes as well.

A friend of mine brought up the idea of using Swords & Machines as an excuse. Perhaps a gaming club or a tabletop gaming team with varied meeting schedules may work better as a cover.

That could be a good cover for a group of us to be in one place. We'd have to find a place where we won't be overheard but that's still public enough that those things won't come right at us.

And wouldn't the network be safer than using the internet?

I would think so, yes. Someone else mentioned they would rather use Skype however. I may investigate webcams over the network some.

Is there a recreations center in town? One that rents out space to conventions or clubs perhaps?

Sorry but I'm not even convinced that talking on this network is safe. I'm not going to a meeting that's going to be broadcast over the regular internet. Whoever this person is can deal with it.

Probably but I've never used it. Wherever this meeting is let me know and if it seems safe I'll try to show up.
