So I'm going to be going on a trip to see my cousins soon and I was thinking that there has to be some way to get around that whole "forgetting every important thing" BS. So I've been writing out pretty intense notes, writing down everything I don't want to forget and going to bring that with me so I'll at least have that, and I want some of you guys to keep in touch. I'll be in Japan so texting is kinda iffy, but I'll be checking my mail a bunch, so you guys can just text me though that.

Because seriously, just my luck to have to leave for a week right when we get the main quest, right?

I'm sure you can do anything over this. Airplane mode your phone and have at it~

But I much prefer pen and paper. Drawing with your finger is hard.

That's what I thought, but I got used to it quick! My grandma wanted a smartphone but...I think that's all she knows how to do on it.

Mine mostly knows how to text and send photos. And talk, of course, but that part's easy. Anything else she just makes faces at.

Doesn't help that she has one of my old phones so there's a ton of games on it.

She's probably just keeping you in the dark about beating all your scores. You know, like when it comes time to dethrone you.

I wish! Grandma isn't into games. Grandpa will play a few against me but the only one Grandma's ever gotten into was DDR. THAT she can kick my ass in.

Don't believe what, that she's the reigning DDR queen of Bakura Manor or that she doesn't play games?

But seriously, Grandma does yoga. She kicks ASS at DDR.

You're on. But hopefully she won't see it as a new challenger approaching if it's really true, because I'm not that good at it.

She's not competitive at all with it. She likes it because it gets me off my ass so I'm not "wasting away in front of a small screen all the time" :)

Oh yeah. Be warned. If you do come over, she'll feed you. And likely make a fuss since Chris is the only of my friend's who's really ever been over my house. She's already ecstatic that I'm actually making friends and being social, she's bound to be insufferable to see I actually invited someone over.

So she's one of /those/ types. As long as there's no like, face smooching, or something like that, I think I'll manage to survive!

She sounds like she really worries about you.

Nah, nothing like that. She's very reserved and really not touchy feely at all. She'll just ask you a million questions and insist on playing hostess.


Yeah, she really does. I guess I can't blame her for it. I gave her a lot to worry about for a long time...

I'll brave it! Besides sometimes it's nice to just sit around at home and play games instead, especially when summer is in full swing.

No beach? That's how I like to spend mine.

You've seen how pale I am, what do you think the beach is going to do? Burnt to a crisp in one afternoon and I'm done.

It does! But that stuff washes off no matter what it says on the bottle. So unless you're just at the beach to stand around, it's not much help.

Nah. Though it would be a way to avoid the crowds. Just be hard to see.

During the summer it's a little different! Like there's usually a bonfire or two. Or the carnival on the pier...that's coming up soon too.

I was planning on it. A change of pace never hurt anyone, especially with everything going on.

It might surprise you to hear, but I actually don't like people much. :) Before this whole mess started, I think I had a grand total of 3 names in my phone.
