2 - video

[Mordin's face appears, dimly lit. It's difficult to make out the background, but it's clearly dark, and several voices can be heard.

Discovered possible Thunder Corp informant in mine - refuses to speak, however, unless significant number of people are present. Current party apparently not enough. Anyone able to come encouraged to do so. Informant likely also altered - displayed ability to move earth remotely. Caused seats to rise out of soil by patting ground. Worth investigating.

[ooc: I won't be able to respond to this much tonight, but you're welcome to have characters reply to each other in the comments. Mine log is here.]

The actual link along with why is still unknown, but I was able to find that Thunder Corp owns the Dead District and intends to do something there. A statue seems to have influenced people to leave the area and then those creatures came to force the issue. I was able to get some information on their plans for the Dead District, assuming they are more successful than previous attempts, of course.

I meant the statues in the museum; there was another one? How long ago was this?

[he did try to read everything on the network, but he doesn't have all the time in the world...]

Thunder Corp is indeed related to the statues. The Dead District one appeared in April, was destroyed on April 20th. It was also a snake.

[And actually, Tamara is going to go ahead and attach pictures she took of the statue, much better than any that could be found on the network.]

That's what it looked like a day before it was destroyed. I took the picture myself.

[there's a delay of several minutes.]

That's around the time when I first connected.

I was told they were made so that ordinary people's minds could be influenced by them. So this one was the same. Who destroyed it?

That would be me :3

And a team of fellow miscreants

I would have broken the museum ones too but security is too tight :\

Hey
I resent being called a miscreant

[ not really. ]

I can't help thinking the city's better off without those things, but no one should be putting themselves in danger. Probably a good idea to leave them alone.

Yeah that's basically my feeling

The one in the Dead District was in a spot that was out of the way enough and an area where the city cops don't usually bother with, where there was almost no security, so I figured we could take it down. The museum's too heavily guarded. So... yeah, if they put 'em up in places where it's not a problem to destroy 'em? Might as well. But somewhere that's heavily guarded... nope.

I can only hope we can get to the bottom of this somehow.
