Mission - Pancakes / Backdated to the morning of April 3rd

Who: Tony and anyone awake at Willow Ridge after the Kidnapping Incident
What: Demon be hungry, so that means pancakes for all.
Where: Willow Ridge kitchen
When: Morning of April 3rd, after Nathan's rescue
Warnings: Possibly some recollections of violence, but otherwise only pancakes. Maybe eggs. We'll see.

Dressed in jeans and a light T-shit, one could almost forget just the night before he'd been barely able to walk under his own power and bleeding all over himself. Quite the change, though watching closely it was still evident Tony was a little tender and sore. Moving stiff and careful while he cooked.

As it turned out, healing was hungry business. Fortunately Willow Ridge was equipped with a well enough stocked kitchen, and Tony with a little skill instilled by Hajime. Despite his best efforts, he still couldn't really use chopsticks with any kind of efficiency. Fortunately pancakes only required a spatula.

Stacks of them, in fact. The first attempts, under-cooked or over had already been eaten, but now he was on a roll. Why not ask him why he's cooked so much, or join in to help devour the abundance? Surely, he figured, the others would wake soon and they'd be hungry as well. Though likely Tony was far over-estimating their hunger by comparing it to his own.

"Better be," came the not-so-polite grumble as Shou cracked open his eyes and noted the fairy lights around the room and the soft, so nice feel of the sheets on his bed. Wiggling a bit more free of Tony's arms, he spent a couple moments trying to pull some of the clothing he was wearing and then gave up when he got most of his shirt off. Too much work and not enough awareness to care, even if he was not a huge fan of wearing clothing while sleeping.

Why does getting ready for sleep had to be hard? He pouted a bit more and then tugged on a pillow to cover his face with. It didn't help much and he really was getting crankier as the moment passed, one arm still caught in his shirt, loose pants and tiny socks still one and that burned patch of skin itching as it healed.

He was a grumpy person when woken up. That was a fact and one that any number of partners had learned the moment they started sharing his bed. Usually people just let him lay where he was knowing that the grumbles of waking up somewhere strange were not as bad as the storm that hits if he was accidentally woken up. It was a little strange that even after everything he had been through, Shou still got like that.

But it was nice that this sort of daze he was in was made comfortable by the removal of his clothing. He stretched, toes digging into the mattress and fingers spread wide and made a slight whimper. It probably was quite a show to anyone watching since Shou was one of those that really did not quite get the concept of underwear save for little thong-like pieces that really did nothing to hide anything. But at least the nice blue was pretty against his skin, right?

"Cold." Well. He was almost comfortable. Watch out Tony, it looked like he was tugging on an arm to get him to join him in bed.

The only problem with this picture, at least in Shou's mind what the problem was, was that Tony still had too many clothes on. Fortunately, Shou was just not coordinated enough to do anything about that, even though he does give Tony's shirt a tug up before giving up and just curling against him. Vampires had a cooler temperature than humans, especially so when they haven't really eaten for a while, so his hand was probably cold feeling against Tony's skin.

"No more moving."

"No more talking," was his response, a little sharper than necessary, but enough to have a bit of a warning edge. Seriously though Tony, he was going to really wake up soon and that was not going to be pleasant. As it was, Shou had founf a comfortable spot against Tony's side, the heat of his body sinking into the coldness of Shou's limbs and making him a little more forgiving than normal.

Honestly, Shou wasn't half as bad as he could be because he really did care for Tony.

"Food later."
