Mission - Pancakes / Backdated to the morning of April 3rd
Who: Tony and anyone awake at Willow Ridge after the Kidnapping Incident
What: Demon be hungry, so that means pancakes for all.
Where: Willow Ridge kitchen
When: Morning of April 3rd, after Nathan's rescue
Warnings: Possibly some recollections of violence, but otherwise only pancakes. Maybe eggs. We'll see.
Dressed in jeans and a light T-shit, one could almost forget just the night before he'd been barely able to walk under his own power and bleeding all over himself. Quite the change, though watching closely it was still evident Tony was a little tender and sore. Moving stiff and careful while he cooked.
As it turned out, healing was hungry business. Fortunately Willow Ridge was equipped with a well enough stocked kitchen, and Tony with a little skill instilled by Hajime. Despite his best efforts, he still couldn't really use chopsticks with any kind of efficiency. Fortunately pancakes only required a spatula.
Stacks of them, in fact. The first attempts, under-cooked or over had already been eaten, but now he was on a roll. Why not ask him why he's cooked so much, or join in to help devour the abundance? Surely, he figured, the others would wake soon and they'd be hungry as well. Though likely Tony was far over-estimating their hunger by comparing it to his own.

It's a bluff, right? He's not doing anything, just existing...and being slightly annoying through existing...

Don't wake up the vampire. He gets cranky when his nice quiet dozing time is being all disturbed by bugmen and reporters. Shou raised the paper towels again and nodded at Tony.
"Make the call. Make my day."
no subject
"Are you saying he doesn't always look like this? He's choosing to do it? On purpose??"
no subject
"Try me."

And then Tony brings out the phone, and he holds his hands up in a gesture of surrender. "Alright, alright..." He gets up from the table and walks into another room. "Doesn't mean I'm going to do it in front of everyone...that's indecent." More like he doesn't want to explain exactly why turning back into a human involves using a playing card. That the bug is actually his true form now.
A few moments later, a put-out looking normal human being will come walking back into the room...though he's not entirely normal-looking. He's embarrassed, and since his blood's green, the resulting blush is actually greenish. "There. Happy?"
no subject
"There. That's better. See, Misa? He's not that buggy now, just a little green."
no subject
"No way! That's really you, bugman?" She looks him up and down disbelievingly. There is definitely a green tinge to his cheeks, but otherwise he looks totally normal. She pokes at his face experimentally. It feels like a normal human face. "Why would you be a bug when you have a face like this?!"

"Y'know, Misa. He's single."
Don't mind the devilish troll grin.
no subject
"He's single and he's a great cook. We think the bug thing is like a defense thing because he's so much awkward."
no subject
"I-I didn't mean it like that!" she insists, giving Hajime some space. Now she really wishes she had gotten dressed before coming out here; somehow having an unexpected cute boy as a guest makes her feel a lot more exposed without pants on than the unexpected bugman did. She tugs at the hem of her overlarge T-shirt and runs her fingers through her tangled hair self-consciously.
"Well, you shouldn't show up like a bug all the time just to scare people!"

"He's really sweet when he remembers how to words. And you know, not too bad on the eyes."
Tony gives a lecherous grin that would make Shou proud, and his one-eyed wink to make it all the worse. The trolling game is in full swing now.
no subject
Sorry, Hajime, but you definitely should know better around Shou. He was the king of trolls when he wasn't slowly being embarrassed. Besides, he was getting a little payback from when he was in Japan and getting frantic text messages from Tony and Hajime.
no subject
An embarrassed glance at Hajime reveals that his face is well and truly green now, in a way that can't be healthy. "Are you going to be sick...?"
no subject
Okay, so calling attention to the fact that he's blushing is not helping at all.
no subject
At Misa's outburst he just cracks up laughing, leaning against Shou while he cackles like a madman. Poor green Hajime, poor exasperated Misa.
