[open] You always wanted a visit, right?
Who: Feivel and/or Nat and YOU
What: Just opening doors from the ghost zone into places and then?????
When: First half of April, pick your date!
Where: Anywhere!
Exploring the ghost zone is great. It's a weird and new place and a certain set of siblings is having a field trip. Most of the time, they're together, but sometimes they split up or one of them goes alone.
They peek out through almost all doors that they find, unless Nat's Force senses tell her that something bad is behind the door (and then sometimes Fe opens it anyway). Maybe they look out at a street where your character is just standing, but maybe they open a door right into their bedroom too, or something else entirely...
((Please make a note in your subject line regarding if you want to encounter Feivel or Nat or both of them))

He holds up the device so she can see it. "GPS data to make a map of where those holes are in this dimension." The thing doesn't belong to him, but he won't say that unless asked.
no subject
She looks at the thing in his hand.
"I didn't think your and Nat's parents were cool enough to let you have things like that. Do you have some kind of uplink back home where all the data is being kept to make this map?"
no subject
"How do you know Arnold?"
no subject
She lifted her chin defiantly.
"He talked to me. He said he recognized the people in my drawings. He said one was of him."
no subject
"You didn't know whom you were drawing?" That could have multiple causes, one of them that she simply used pictures found online, but if it is at all echo-related...
no subject
She gestured toward a stack of papers on a nearby table.
"They're over there, if you want to look at them."
no subject
He braced himself for the echo before it came, but it still takes a moment for him to adjust to it and the knowledge that comes with it.
"What are they to you?" He picks up one more or less at random, holding it up to make clear what he means.
no subject
She looks at the picture he picked up. Oh. The one of the redhaired twins playing a game. Seeing him hold it, she felt a strange mix of pride and annoyance flash in her.
"Be careful.. I don't want you to hurt one of them."
She moves over to the stack.
"I see them in my mind, clear as day. They seem familiar, but maybe just because I've seen them for so long. But, Mr. Benedict recognized them too. He had names for all of them."
Delicately, she pages through them. She pauses at one and laughs.
"He said this one was his father." She traces her fingers lightly over the lines. "I drew a lot of him. He looks a little like you in 20 years, maybe."
no subject
"Why did you draw a lot of him?" He can easily see the resemblance (and really, it's not surprising. After all it is/i> him at some point in the future. Not 20 years, maybe, but still a future him.
no subject
"I don't know. I just... really wanted to see his face sometimes. Sometimes it made me happy. Sometimes... not. But I still just wanted to see it."
no subject
"But you don't know why it makes you happy or "not"?" There's a strong inflection on the 'not', though it doesn't carry a specific emotion.
no subject
She frowned at him.
"Don't you feel the same way when you're tinkering sometimes?"

She gave him a hard look.
"...are you?"
no subject
"And no. And at this point I can't tell if Fëanáro was."
no subject
She pursed her lips.
"So maybe not all of them, huh? But... You are him? What are you doing in my head like that?"
no subject
This one. Maitimo, or Nelyafinwë, Russandol... Maedhros. The eldest, strong but with little talent in any area. A good older brother though, reliable and trustworthy.
Or Arnold, of course. Makalaurë, Maglor. A great singer and composer. Or any of their brothers. ...Are there no women that you remember in the same way?"
