[Someone has found her way into the ghost zone. Nat shows the network a shot of floating rocks and some ghostified sparrows hopping among them.]

Why aren't more people going through these um warp holes? They should be mapped. "There are flying weird animals sometimes" isn't a good keep-out sign, if you ask me. Besides, most of them are harmless.

[She yelps! -One flew too close and startled her.] -Just annoying.

Well. That's good that you can, but like. You should really make sure someone can come and help. What if you run into something you can't get away from?

It's the right one, though. I have a sense for danger now, and I'm going in the other direction when I feel it, like a good girl.

Oh. Well that's a big relief to hear! At least you're being sensible about it.

But I'd still let someone you trust know yeah? What if you get stuck or you can't get out fast enough? At least then someone'd be able to give you a hand.

Yeah yeah. Better'n nothing I guess. But no one on here knows where you are exactly I'm guessing. Still will mean it takes time for anyone to find you, if they have to go looking

Directions don't make a lot of sense here. I'm not sure I even could tell anyone where 'here' is, without taking like an hour, and I'm not just hanging around here all the time.

Is it at all easy to navigate then?

It is and it isn't. A lot... okay, the real world has this singular plane you run around on. There are things so you can climb up or down, there are canyons and mountains, but there's a continuous surface.

The doors dimension is like if you threw a bucket of paint up in the air, froze that, and blew it up to this ridiculous size.

Oooh, like a Salvador Dali painting you mean? All ... weird angles and such? Neat!

Yeah, kinda! Not so much melting anything though. Gravity's weird. If you're close enough to a rock that rock is "down" but there isn't a single "down" anywhere.

Huh! So how do you travel then, if gravity's odd like that?

If the rocks are close enough you just step from one to the other. Plenty of them are. Otherwise, you jump, and you can jump a lot further there. But I've seen rocks and groups of rocks really far away where I'm not sure I'd try and get there.

Huh. Maybe its like when you're on the moon or underwater. Have you tried like. Swimming?

That would look silly.

But! [ Arnold raises a finger ] It might work, and you never know. Although you'd want like. A safety rope.

Yeah, maybe.

[not convinced. She takes herself too seriously for 'looking silly' not to be a major drawback.]

[ Arnold snorts at her in amusement ]

Too afraid? [ He teases gently ] Nah, ignore me. Worth thinking about if I ever find my way in, I suppose. [ Arnold dun curr about looking stupid. He does it all the time anyway ]

You'll have to remember to tie it around something. Or have someone with a lasso, I guess.

Well, an anchor of some sort would work. Like a mountain-climber, yeah? But it'd be better to have a spotter, I'd imagine. Like, if you had a long "swim" and something came at you, they could reel you in, for example.

Yeah, that'd be kinda necessary. There's some things out here it's better to avoid completely.

Yep. So tether-jumping's on the risky side. If you can actually fly out there, it hasn't happened to me.
