2nd Puzzle | Video (Action for doppels at Neuschwanstein Castle)

[The face that pops up will only be familiar to a couple of the original Numbered, but many of the doppelgangers should know it. That's right, folks; it's doppel-Nathan. Who seems to be . . . looking upside-down into the feed. Anyone at the castle can find him lying on his back on a bed, head bent backward over the edge while he speaks into the phone on the floor. And kicks his legs restlessly. The only thing the network sees is the youthful pout, short locks of white hair hanging away from his forehead.]

Hanging around the castle is getting so boring again and all you people are being too serious. C'mon, who wants to loosen up and hit London or something? L? That's close to the old stompin' grounds, right? Could be pretty cool. [He has no idea if it's close to Winchester or not and he can't be bothered to look it up. Hey, it's all just England, isn't it?]

[With all the tension brewing between the people in the castle and their doubles, she would rather not reveal herself over the network. The longer she can go without her double being aware of her existence, the better.]

Oh, I'm in one of the bedrooms. Not sure which one; I wave you in when I see you. [At least he's not a nympho.]

[The guy looks like he's 14 tops, she isn't too worried about that.]

[Wow, he's totally legal, Misa.]

[Okay, give him a second. He's been in here a while; he forgot the exact area.] Oh, right. North wing.

[Once again she does not believe.]

[Rather than responding, Misa sets off for the north wing and starts poking her head into rooms. The less she uses the network, the better. After some searching she finally spots a head of white hair and approaches him without any greeting.]

I'm the one you were talking to on the network.

[And he's still upside down, still kicking his little legs. He totally looks eighteen, shush.

[He grins when he sees her and waves cheerily.] Oh, hi!

[Perma-Action]

[Seeing him in person, Misa isn't totally sure that she isn't going partying with a 12 year old. Oh well. She walks over to take a seat on the bed, eying him with a vague sense of curiosity.]

What are we going to do in London?

[Get him to stand still for a minute and he could pass for a teenager. Really. Look, they served him booze here in Germany, so he had to pass for that much, right?

[He watches her in turn, with eyes containing only the slightest spark of wit.] Well, we've gotta hit up the clubs. City that size has to have a ton of cool ones. I mean, not like there's time to go to all of 'em, but we can get a few in over a night, right?

[It's Germany man no one cares.]

[For the first time Misa actually seems to approve of what he's saying, a small smile making its way across her features.]

That sounds fun. Do you know anyone who can hook us up there?

[What, and they're gonna care in England?]

What, you expect me to know people in England? I've never been; it was all past life junk. Don't worry about it; we'll be fine. [Planning? What's that?]

Maybe I can get in contact with someone before we leave.

[She's more musing aloud than talking to him, at this point.]

Well, a good club should have someone selling anyway.

I guess we could look a few places up or something if you wanted.

[What a chore, and boy does his voice make it sound like one. He tries to reach down and grab the phone off the floor from his current position, but his arms aren't long enough and nearly winds up slipping off the bed. This is totally encouraging for when he'll be drinking later, right?

[But hey, he saves it. He's dumb, but not quite that dumb. Okay, okay, looks like he has to get up. And so he does, scoops the phone and then sits down on the edge of the bed like a normal person. At least he looks slightly less like a twelve-year-old this way?]

Not getting a lot of answers, so there's not much else to do before L gets back with the chopper, anyway.

[Yep, flying through net searches now because people are being boring.]

[Misa watches all this with raised eyebrows, but doesn't comment. Or leave.]

What exactly are you looking up?

[She's more interested in scoring some party drugs than researching the location to be honest.]
