I was wondering if anyone would let me stay somewhere else.

Robyn....forgot a few weeks ago. She still remembered me and I told her about being numbered, but she doesn't remember any of the Network stuff. She said it's still fine for me to stay with her, but...

But if something follows me home, I don't want it to be her home when she wouldn't be prepared for it.

That might be for the best. Though having me go in alone would be better. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble, and Dad has a bad habit of not listening.

She and Dad weren't really together. They were a casual fling sort of thing, as far as I can remember her talking about it. She didn't even bother involving him in my life until she realized I was sick.

Though mom did make time for me. Maybe it's just because she has less work comparatively or if she just tried harder. Maybe she just tried to be the best at whatever she was doing?

My father only started full-time because I could look after my brother.

[If she's honest, she isn't sure what her parents would have done had she not just been in a position where she could stay at home with the young child for a whole year. Would he still have accepted the opportunity and found a far away relative to take care of the child?]

I had the servants. And tutors.

I think mom put me in daycase a lot, it's harder to remember those parts.

But hey, at least I was mostly through high school education before....everything. So there's that.

[With a little bit help from a faked identity, but she's sure that there is someone on the network that can do that for them.]
