[ If there's any better way of dealing with hard times than escapist shenaniganry, Octavia certainly doesn't know about it. Let's be real - the real motivation for this trip is the partying. And the lack of responsibility. And the drinks and snacks.

Still - finding the mystery bird monster ahead of time would be rad. In pursuit of this, anyone who meets up with octavia at the start of the day will be given an Awesome Adventurer's Kit (tm) - a small package consisting of a shitty two dollar compass, a notepad, a pen and a poorly-made swiss army knife.

Those things could be useful, okay. God. ]

[She just hums along happily as she continues to work. She shoots him a smirk when he comments on her hair dying choices.]

Well I don't really just carry hair dye on me, so I'm making do with what I've got!

Well, yeah. I mean, you can't go wrong with red! Even if I do look like one of those goth kids from middle school. It looks pretty good with the white, though.

I was just expecting you to do something...crazier.

Well it would probably look better on your regular hair, but you're all Cure Phantomy right now so that's what I have to work with.

[She gave him a stern look... Or at least she tried to, she couldn't help but smile as she continued working at his hair.]

I'm doing the best I have with what I've got here. I didn't just bring a bunch of hair dye with me thinking I'd get dared to give people makeovers. I only had the sharpie in case I needed to get an autograph or something.

Well, as far as red Sharpie goes, it looks pretty good!

I almost match you. Funny, huh?

[Her face goes red when he notices that they match. That was what she was going for but she was a little embarrassed to just admit it.]

A-almost, yeah! real funny!

[She'll pull out her phone and move up beside Danny to get a selfie of the both of them.]

Hold still and smile, I need a picture of this!

[He laughs a little and grins, shifting closer to try and make sure they both get as much of their faces into frame as possible.]

Alright, alright! But first--mask, or no mask?

[She considers it for a moment, then uses her free hand to start pulling at his mask.]

No mask, no mask!

[She had plenty of pictures of him with the mask off, this would be a little different but nice.

Once the mask came off (with or without his help.) an idea popped into her head, she quickly went to put the mask on herself. It didn't fit the greatest, but it'd do. She'd glance over to Danny and smile brightly.]

I may have changed my mind about the mask, it can stay.

[He laughs a little at the sight of it. Man, his mask looks silly when it's not on his face.

(Okay, so it looks kinda silly even when he wears it. Not that he'll ever admit that.)]

Hey, looks good to me!

[She giggles when he laughs and moves to adjust the mask as it slips down over her eyes. She'll keep one hand on it and the other on the camera as she scootches closer to Danny and aims the camera again.]

Alright, here goes!

[And snap goes the picture.]

[Danny, emboldened by the booze, feels daring and makes what he thinks is a very attractive winky face at the camera.

Once the picture's taken, he takes the phone and brings it down to get a better look at the photo.]

You know, you don't look half bad with that mask!

[The pictures looks pretty good. You know for two tipsy dorks taking a selfie.

Robyn's face went a little red when Danny mentioned she looked good in the mask.]

Y-you think so? Maybe I should look into getting one for myself. Or switching up my old one to be more like it.

[She'll give him a quick look over.]

You know, you look pretty good unmasked too.

[He snorts a little.]

I look the same without the mask as I do when I'm just a normal human, just with different colors.

Are you saying normal human me looks good too?

[He kind of had a point there.

Oh wow. Did he just ask if she thought he looked good?

He did.

Normally she'd be all flustered and know exactly what she wanted to say but unable to bring herself to say it. She was plenty flustered but underage drinking certainly helped with everything else.]

-M-maybe I am!

...That's okay, right?

[suddenly he looks a lot less smug.]

...well, yeah, I-I guess so.

But just so we're clear, I'm off-limits! I'm taken. ...she just doesn't happen to be in Germany right now is all.

[Oh. Oh dear, she realizes she might not have said the right thing here.

She normally wouldn't have the confidence to say something like that but it certainly didn't feel right to blame it on any alcohol she drank. It was how she felt after all.]

Y-yeah, I know, I know that! I just...

Well...

[Okay, there wasn't any excuse for that. She took a small nervous step back.]

[oh wow, she's so flustered, it's actually causing him to smile again and chuckle a little.]

It's not the end of the world just because I have a girlfriend!

She didn't just ruin a friendship because you were too forward and honest about how you felt, that was a good sign.]
