[Time for a phone selfie video! I hope you like this kinda-shaky view of Danny from the shoulders up as he sits on his bed.]

Okay, so I got asked to check out the new mountain that popped up in Vegas--see if anything's in there that we ought to know about. Well...the answer's no.

[The camera shakes for a moment and when it stabilizes, Danny has a hand pressed up against the side of his head and grimacing as though he's got a bad headache.]

The place is totally empty. I didn't find anything--except for a couple of old bodies, which, uh, ew. Anyway, I don't know how much that helps, but...there you go, I guess. If that matters to--[the video shifts and looks up at where the wall and ceiling of Danny's bedroom meet.]

Hang on, I don't--why am I--Ahh!!

[There's a dull thud noise, and then silence for a few moments. Danny's hand passes over the video a few times, trying to grasp at the phone but failing. When he talks, his voice suddenly sounds very far away.]

Okay, uhhh. Change of plans. Can somebody come over here and help me find myself?

Okay, okay, uh--hang on--

[Danny's shoulders (and headless neck) move across the video for a moment as he leans down to try to feel for where he thinks his arm might be. It's hard to do when he has no sight to rely on, and only one arm to search with, so it takes him some time...but eventually his fingers grasp around something, and he feels a squeeze on his detached arm's bicep.

God, this is weird.

Danny leans back up, the limp other arm grasped in his hand as he holds it up to the video (approximately).]

I think I got it!

Okay, okay, uhhh--

[He lifts the arm up to where he thinks the shoulder joint is, but he's holding the arm the wrong way around. Instead, his hand presses up against the shoulder joint and he yelps, jerking back and yanking the arm away.]

Jeez, that feels creepy! Okay, just--let me--I'm gonna try again--

[He sets the arm down on the bed and rearranges his grasp so that this time he can get the top of his arm lined up with his shoulder joint. He presses flesh up against flesh, but he can't feel any difference.]

...well? Is it attached again?

dude you think i know flex your shoulder and see if ur arm moves

[He moves his arm around a little and flexes, and sure enough he can feel both his shoulder and his arm flexing together. That means it's okay, right? Danny lets go.

His arm flops to the bed again.]

...it fell off again, didn't it.

Hey, they're mostly under control! I don't accidentally get halfway stuck through walls any more or trapped while possessing people, at least!

[And perhaps ten minutes later, Roxy just kind of appear in Danny's room, casting her eye around.]

[By this point, thanks to Karl's help, Danny's head has been relocated. It is now resting on the bed, leaning against his torso, and held in place by the hand that is still attached to the rest of his body. His detached arm rests limply on the bed besides his head.]

Yeah, you're telling me.
