Who: Liam & Ariel
What: Liam tries to fix things
When: September 1st, Evening
Where: Ariel's condo
[After the latest exchange on the network, Liam hurries over to the condo. Granted, usually he was getting a ride from Ariel so it took a lot more time than usual.
He wasn't sure what he could do to make him okay with him again, but from what he understood, it involved apologizing, giving her a phone, and not disappearing again. Despite promising all those things, Ariel still seemed pissed... as did everyone else.
He makes a few stops on the way, so by the time he gets there, it's dark. He's sweaty from cycling, so the his backpack sticks to his back uncomfortably as he finally rings the buzzer.]
Ariel? It's me. Can I come in?... Ariel?
[Impatient knocking.]

What do you want?
[No dude, no bro.]

I came to say I'm sorry and I'm ready for my environmentally unfriendly ice bucket.
no subject
How is water environmentally unfriendly?
no subject
[Liam squats down to fish through his backpack and pulls out two very poorly wrapped boxes. They each say "I'm Sorry" in magic marker on the Christmas wrapping paper. He hands them to her.]

Considering you can't really waste water, as it gets recycled into the atmosphere eventually unless it remains bottled. If you're so upset about it, you can water the patch of lawn while you're at it. Help the turf grass grow.
no subject
[He stops himself though, since he wasn't here to talk about the environment.]
Anyway, um... so you still have a bucket and all that?
[He gestures to the wrapped boxes.]
You can open those, you know. They're for you.
no subject
Yeah I have the bucket, it's probably outside where it was drying. You're seriously going to go douse yourself in ice cold water to apologize to me? It's not gonna make me feel any less angry you know.
no subject
It might help, though, right?
[Hopefully? Liam waits though, until she opens one of the gifts. Inside is this phone case.]
What about a punch? I'd let you punch me?
no subject
No punching you would not help. It might make me feel better, but it certainly wouldn't help!
no subject
Well, what can I do instead to make this okay?
[The other box does indeed have a phone in it. Liam waits for her to open it before saying more.]
...It's waterproof. Like, if you go to the beach. Or dump a bucket of ice water on your head, it should live, you know?
no subject
[She knew he was rich, but really.]
Dude, I'm not saying this makes things okay... but thanks for replacing the phone even though you didn't have to. I shouldn't have tossed it.
no subject
Nah, it wasn't too bad. It was on sale for like four hundred or something. It's okay, I mean... it was like, collateral damage. From whatever I did. It was the not-telling thing, right?
[He was pretty sure that was it, but he just wanted to make sure.]
no subject
[She set the phone and case down. There was a soft smile because the case was cute and totally Liam in design-- not that that bothered her, but it was a nice touch.
Moving towards the door to the garden, she gestured for Liam to follow.]
C'mon I'll get the bucket. Since it's evening out, you can forgo the ice. It'll be cold enough,
no subject
[Liam follows her with a touch of trepidation. It's not like he was exactly looking forward to it whent the sun wasn't out. Though he supposed it was good that he could skip the ice.]
So how do you want me to do this?
no subject
[Outside there was the bucket she had used earlier and the towel as well that was almost completely dry. Grabbing the bucket, she took it to a tap and filled it up almost to the brim.]
no subject
[His mouth twitches into a smile briefly, but then the dreaded task was at hand. He takes off his shoes and stands in the garden. It's already a little cool, since it was dark and fall was approaching, so he was glad that it was just water and not ice.]
Okay I'm ready let's do this.
[He gestures for her to give over the bucket when it was full.]

This is the part where we hug and make up, right?
[He smirks. So joking.]

no subject
Fair enough, if you're forgiving me.
[When he removes the towel from his face he gives her a look that asks "you are forgiving me, now, right?"]
no subject
Look, fine. You're forgiven. For the most part. Now come inside before you freeze to death.
no subject
[Liam quickly does his best to dry off so that he wouldn't be dripping water all over the condo, then wraps the towel around his shoulders before going inside. He's glad to get warm, and he hops a little on his toes standing in place, trying to warm up.]
So, how are you doing?
no subject
Better than I have been. What about you?
