I'm sorry if no one could contact me for the last two weeks.

And I have a question for the Network.

How common is it for people to temporarily lose all their echoes?

[For anyone who knows her in real life and might have paid attention, she was in the hospital for a good chunk of that time. Nothing like relapsing illnesses.]

That's horrible! Even discounting the fact you can't help it, you're a kid. No one should be putting that kind of pressure on you, it's not a child's responsibility to protect their parents.

Even if they're capable doing so, it's not what should be expected.

It does seem that it's not a good thing to hope for. That happened with me and the green blood.

For all that adults are annoying when they don't think we're capable, they're not unreasonable in assuming this. That's normal, that's what they should do until we prove ourselves. They should accept when we do, but they're right in needing that evidence.

We're still growing, we're still learning. It's the job of those in charge of us to show us how we should act. They need to have patience and understanding and willing to talk to us.

Talk, not blame.

If they blame you for their wellbeing at your age, there is no doubt that they're the ones in the wrong.
