I'm sorry if no one could contact me for the last two weeks.
And I have a question for the Network.
How common is it for people to temporarily lose all their echoes?
[For anyone who knows her in real life and might have paid attention, she was in the hospital for a good chunk of that time. Nothing like relapsing illnesses.]

...that does explain why we haven't talked in a while.
Re: [text]
Yes. I just forgot everything. It was really disorientating.

I may need your help in the hospital next week. I only suspected it, but these two weeks proved it. I went into remission because of my echoes. No echoes, no remission, and no one was expecting for me to be that bad that quickly, so I ended up doing too much.
I was in the hospital most of that time. Finally let me out the day before yesterday, but I'm back on the 'let's make sure this isn't going to turn horrifically bad unexpectedly' schedule.

Give him a moment to process this.]
S-so...are you...okay now? What even--[no wait, you can't just ask people what they're sick with, Danny.]
...Did this happen a lot to you? Uh, before the--the pulses?
Re: Filtered/Voice
Yes, it did. I'm used to being sick. The problem was I thought I was better than I was since I had been better with the Network.
I wasn't as careful as I should have been, pushed myself too far, that's all. They wouldn't have let me out if I hadn't been stable.
And with the echoes, there's no problem at all save for the whole no heartbeat thing.

Re: Filtered/Voice
It's not like I'd just keel over, and I'd adjust back after the first incident, but yes, I would be sick.
