Does anyone know why Albero's coming after us? I don't think I've ever had anything to do with him, but...

Was attacked by mobsters with modifications from big cats. Definitely working with animal modification technology.

Presume mobsters have recovered technology left behind by Tiny's forces, now using it to their advantage. Unfortunately, difficult to confirm; no practical method to investigate mob and check.

Yeah. Do we know what else he did besides the animal modifications? I only got my number back a little bit before some of us went after him, and then there was the snake, so I never read a lot of what we'd found out.

Blood Keys had cybernetic modifications; otherwise, blind as to what Albero could have kept.

Yeah. I've got a healing spell and one that hits things with rocks, and they both use the same... energy, I guess.

How can we find out what, if they are? I doubt it'd be anything good.

No, not too bad. I don't think I've got any broken bones or anything. They just wanted to rough me up and deliver their message.

I'd like to think I took more roughing than they expected. [He doesn't sound really confident of that, though.]

Yeah. Probably not as badly, there were four of them, and it sounds like they might've been modified. But that's mostly how I used up my magic, with my rocks.
