[Ariel can't help but appear rather happy right now. Even with monster cars, aliens and cultists on the prowl, her life has been going pretty well lately and it shows with her rather impish smile as she turns on her camera to her laptop.]

So summer is here and with summer that means beaches! is anyone interested in going to the beach? I was thinking of making a party of it and having some fun in the sun. Maybe if enough people show interest, we might even be able to get a bunch of people to play volleyball or Frisbee or something together. Or someone could hang ten with me. I do have an extra surfboard-- so long as you don't mind hot pink. Now that the 4th is over, I'm looking at maybe this Saturday for some fun in the sun!

Also thanks to anyone who helped rescue Naya while I was away on vacation. I'm sorry that was even a thing that happened.

OMG. That sounds absolutely crazy! My experiences have been a lot less... crazy. Yeah there was the rampant car and the strange powerout thing, but nothing sounds as scary as what you've faced. I changed my mind for two reasons. 1. A lot of people I cared about are numbered, I didn't want to leave them. and 2. I feel a sort of weird obligation to see things through with being numbered.

What can I say? I'm getting use to this whole thing! At this rate, I might as well be a pro at this! Well, minus all the damage and the powers I may or may not have! It would be cool that they came sooner but what can you do?

[Although, it did make her feel a bit useless here. She was trying to keep a brave face but there was only so much she could do.]

Then what do you intend to do on being a numbered? We are more or less gifted if we are on this network but what do you want to do with that?

That's gotta be frustrating not knowing what your powers are. For awhile I was only rocking memories myself. At least until a car tried to hit me and then, it was hellllooo dodging. In answer to your other questions, I want to protect those I care about, first and foremost... After that it's all about wanting to know what it is I can do and learning about my past self.

Then you're pretty lucky! Not the whole getting attacked by a random car but more that you managed to avoid it and got your powers back! So I guess you must have really good dodging powers huh?

[Hm...this does make Abby wonder a bit. If she wasn't going to get her powers the normal way, would going against something dangerous trigger something? She didn't want to go that route but she was getting a little desperate at this point.]

I think that's what everyone wants to do. I know that what I want to but I don't really know what to do with myself. I don't really have my powers so I'm not even sure how I can really protect my own family with so little I can do. I do want to know about my past self but I'm not sure what to do!

Yeah. The reflexes were a nice surprise. At the time, I couldn't control myself very well so I've had to practice tumbling and jumping and stuff. I think I might be good at parkour if I really wanted a new hobby. Chances are, you'll echo something back sooner rather than later, especially since stuff has a habit happening to us... Just be patient, frustrating as that sounds. You'd be amazed at how the littlest things can trigger a memory

If you do get better at it, it might be good enough to join the Olympics with it! If it’s as intense of a sport as you say it is, it’ll be a good way to do something with it? I don’t know, what is Parkour anyway? We just don’t know!

Yeah, I know. A lot of people have told me to be patient, it’s just sucks that I got nothing at all! I know someone said that it took them 8 months to get their powers back and it’s been 8 months for me! But I’m just whining right now though.

My skillz with dodgin and stuff go away if we leave the barrier zones. I still kind of have them.. enough to maybe give me an edge I guess, but IDK I think they might call it cheating. Parkour is where you get from point a to point b using the qucikest way possible over objects... while maintaining as much momentum while still being safe. So like getting to the roof of a house by jumping between walls or something. A city makes it easy to practice that sort of stuff. There is always the flip side, what if you don't have powers? Just memories? Has that even happened before?
