Absolutely. If it is acceptable to you to help with your powers, then by all means, you should do so. If you don't want to, that's fine, but when everything is going to hell, you can't sit back and say it doesn't concern you.

That said, I understand that not everyone WANTS to do that kind of thing. And that we shouldn't HAVE to. Maybe I'm weird for wanting to do those things, but it's just how I am. I have these powers now, and from the very beginning, I've insisted on doing everything I can.

Of course iit would be niice iif the world was perfect and nobody needed help, but that iisn't the way our world works.

I think that all depends on your personal moral obligations. Some would think you do, but that doesn't mean much in the shadow of what you personally hold yourself to.
