Backdated to June 11th, during the blackout - 6/11
[text]
Everyone's power is out. I got caught outside when it happened. I'm trying to get home...
There's something out there. I can't see it clearly, but I can sort of... it's like you know something's there, but it's fuzzy. And I think I'm hearing things...
I'm worried about my mom. She was at the bar when everything went dark and I can't call her on the phone. I'm trying to get home but I'm worried I'll get lost.
Can anyone help me?
[action]
[Whether anyone came for her or not, Amy knew she had to get home by some means. At this point, she was cursing herself for deciding to run out to the 24 hour mart to pick up something... and for what? Making a cake wasn't worth being a teenaged girl with a broken arm out alone in the middle of a blackout.
Neither were the images that faded in and out of Amy's view. Since that whole business with the car, she'd been seeing things already... not advertising it, but the strange particles were still somewhat bothering her. They paled before the strange shades that faded in and out of her vision though... she couldn't help but feel they were connected to all this...
Just then, however, Amy heard a noise that made her blood run cold. The familiar sound of a revving, angry engine. Amy came to a sudden stop and let out a scream... a loud scream that anyone in the vicinity would most likely hear]

It's so dark that he can't make up much aside from Amy's clothing, as he reaches for something to grab, as he's gotten used to since the start of the monster car's attacks. ]

Hey hey stop! I'm tryin' to help!
I am so sorry
... yep. That's some mace. Which she is now spraying at Alexi]

If Amy is lucky, Alexi might have had enough coherence to flip himself onto either his side or his back before they crashed, which means there is a 50-50 chance that she is now not pinned beneath him. ]

[ While he doesn't have a ride now, he can borrow one of his colleague's car to go get Amy. His arrival might be slightly delayed as it will probably take him a moment to get used to his suddenly perfect eyesight that shot through a familiar bout of echo sensation right after the blackout hits them. Ignoring the decidedly lack of need for glasses until later, he's heading to said colleague while waiting for Amy's reply. ]

Either way, he'd discovered Amy wasn't home. Which meant his job for the evening wasn't done - so, he and Haro had been out searching. As Neil enters another blackout zone, he slows down even further, taking note that the last one he searched through had caused... odd effects. Not wanting them to repeat while he's driving he goes ever more cautiously. ]
action;
Neil would likely be able to catch sight of her with his headlights]
action;
[ He parks - in the middle of the street, no less. Sorry, everyone. Then he's out of the truck and making his way over to her, worry swelling within him. Trying to ignore any pulls of strangeness that comes from this blackout; he needs to get his little sister out as soon as possible. ]
Amy! Kid, are you okay?!
action;
Neil... Neil is that you...?
action;
[ Once he reaches her, he kneels down and reaches out to take hold of her good arm. Seeing her like this, out here, honestly scares the shit out of him but he keeps his expression passive. ]
C'mon. Up we go, you can ride shotgun with the basketball. Mom's worried sick. Came by the bar, you weren't there... With this weird crap going on out here, I sure as hell wasn't going to leave you to the wolves.
