Operation: Keep All My Stuff In One Place
Who: Lily + various others.
What: Catch-all log thread for this week in which Lily catches up with or runs into people she hasn't seen in months, be it ones she needs to see, wants to see, or would have rather avoided.
Where: Locke City - Most likely the Tsukuyomi residence, school, or in-between. Anywhere else depends on how willing Winter or Jasmine are willing to let her wander off on her own right now.HA.
When: Anywhere from June 2nd to June 7th. Or so.
Warnings:Depends on whether or not Amy incites a cat fight. I mean - for now, mentions of injury and bite wounds. ... And probable half-dressed embarrassment.
WHY: Wanted to throw Lily against some people face-to-face now that she's back in town. Ended up realizing this would end up with way too many log threads, so to keep things organized - I made this! This is closed to people I'm grabbing for various threads, but if you wanna annoy her feel free to give me a buzz!
Format: Feel free to ignore however I start anything and roll with whatever format you prefer - I'll match.
Finals are the easy part of this week.
Having to explain what the hell happened to her in Vegas? That's another matter. It was actually much easier before she got back, in a way - she could mostly ignore the Network, almost close herself off in her own little world. Not admit she was ashamed at how badly she might have failed. (Or what she perceived as her failure.)
She tried very hard to not phrase it as, "I got nearly torn apart trying to protect my girlfriend from a vicious dog monster." Except that was the truth! So. That was difficult.
Both difficult and relieving, however? There are people she hadn't seen face-to-face in a long time, now. Fessing up to them is the hardest part, but some are friends. She probably owes them that much of an explanation.
Still, she feels oddly more comfortable than maybe she should - home felt safe. Safer than maybe it should, helped by the presence of certain people staying around her almost constantly. So... she can manage. For now, anyway - there's still a lot to worry about, and she's not exactly feeling great about herself... But at the very least, the people around her manage to make it not seem insurmountable.

Amy - High School - June 3rd
Either way, she's gotten a spare moment and has miraculously wound up mostly by herself. So she's found a bench to sit down on, head in her one good hand.
Assuredly, nothing's going to come her way to irritate her here, at least. This is school! She loves school. So she'll just take these few spare moments to maybe, like. Wallow in self pity a little.
That sounds like it can't possibly go wrong.
Re: Amy - High School - June 3rd
There's a grunt as someone sits down next to her; namely, a brown-haired girl with her arm in a sling. She doesn't realize who she's sat down next to, just that she needs a break after having been walking around.
I mean, it's a free bench, right? But feel free to mistake her grunt of pain and annoyance for something else.

"Oh... well, at least there's someone in the same boat as me, I guess."
This is the first thing that leaves her mouth. It's only afterwards that a dull familiarity creeps up on her. The purple haired young woman recalls a video post on the Network she never replied to and--
Oh.
Without even trying, her expression quickly starts to harden.
no subject
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were..."
Her voice trailed off as she recognized who she was looking at. She didn't know Lily personally, but she knew of Lily and who she was connected to.
She meant to say "I didn't realize that you were injured too", but with the way she trailed off, and what she said next, her statement would likely take on a whole different meaning.
"... Lily Tsukuyomi."

Lily scoots away just as much as she can. Her brow tightens, and she straightens up considerably.
"Amy Dylandy."
It comes out much cooler than she initially intends, but she doesn't really apologize for it. Her eyes go immediately to her sling, however. She frowns.
"Getting yourself into trouble too, I see."
no subject
Amy turned away, basically... thumbing her nose at Lily.
"As have you. I see it didn't stop you all from getting out of your fantasy world in time for graduation..."
no subject
Lily's eyes narrow.
"There's little fantasy in what's going on out there. And it's clearly-" She looks to Amy's arm again. "-not much safer here, either."
no subject
Amy didn't look back, but spoke anyway. "There's a difference between nearly being run over by it and running off to Las Vegas chasing after it."

Anais - High School - June 6th
Worse?
At the very least, the tests really have proven the least of Lily's problems. Mentally, at least! Physically? Eh... that's another matter. She would have to have damaged her dominant arm.
She's at least getting a little more used to asking people for help day-to-day, though she constantly hates herself for it. It feels so very, very foreign to her - sure, she'd already gotten used to asking Winter for help for a few months now, but everyone else? She constantly feels like she's imposing upon them.
Thus, why she's taking the incredibly wise route of balancing books and papers in her one good arm as she heads down a hallway. A passing student flying out of a room nearly collides with her then - of course - and she gives a visible cringe of pain as she stops abruptly. The books and papers slip right from her hands, scattering all over the floor while the random passerby just hurries along on his way.
Peachy.
Lily almost, almost swears, but... bites her tongue. Literally. It's a necessity to keep herself from screaming at her sudden, jerking stop.
Well... as said, it could be worse? At least she didn't fall? Were that the case, she'd half expect to find the offending student strung up by icicles later on.
[not here]
Winter, meanwhile, has narrowly avoided suspension: she didn't touch him. She didn't do anything to him. She merely placed a six-foot wall of ice in his way, walked up to him, gave him a stern warning, and walked away. The wall of ice, and a burst of frost on the ground along the floor and windows radiating out from the point where she was standing, remain as a further - and basically final - suggestion that Winter Adamas, and by extension Lily Tsukiyomi, is not to be trifled with.

She eyes up the sling. She runs through half a second of emotional conflict. She realizes that she's passed every final this week with not a single problem, and even if she's late, she'll probably finish her chemistry final in less than fifteen minutes and she doesn't quite know how. She really has no excuses here. Lily had helped her when she'd dropped her things at the mall in December and she'd been completely fine, just clumsy. She might as well return the favor.
She pulls the books back to her own chest, separating them from her own with her fingers. "Where are you headed?"
no subject
She's distracted though when she finds Anais already there and helping get her stuff up off the ground. She's surprised enough at her sudden presence she stands there a little dumbly, not having anticipated someone else to pop up and lend a hand. She flashes back to December briefly, and then manages a smile.
"Oh... class," she says a little absently. Of course you were headed to a class, Lily, she probably meant which one. This doesn't yet register with her, and she just sort of touches her injured arm in its sling. "Sorry, I'm a little bit useless right now..." She manages a small smile. "Thank you, Anais. It's been awhile."
no subject
Just get her there and get back to her own class and her moral obligation is fulfilled, right?
no subject
She bites off the comment halfway into it, realizing a bit late that she's probably still working off the pained expression from nearly losing her balance in the first place. She takes another glance at her presently immobile, right arm, and gives a defeated sigh.
"If it's not going to make you late or anything, I'd appreciate it. Sorry, I guess I'm still not used to asking people for help." She says, as she's staring at a person she knows very well is a healer. A thought she pushes away for the moment; she hadn't actually talked with Anais since they left for Vegas. Not because she didn't want to or anything, Lily had simply been so caught up in what she was doing that... Well, there's a lot of people she's been needing to catch up with this week.
At the same time, there is a paranoid part of her that worried what it'd look like if she came up and talked to Anais, with that being one of the first things brought up. Knowing the animosity that there had been between Anais and Marina, and it being little secret that Lily had just spent two months running around hunting alien vermin with the blue-haired girl as one of her companions... She doesn't want to give any impression to this girl she'd just be trying to use her. To Lily, Anais was a good person who had never been anything but nice to her.
So, for now her smile just gently widens a bit, and she nods. "I'm glad there were good people to hold down the fort here, at least. You've been holding up well enough, I hope?"
no subject
"We survived." She shrugs, then, holding their books to her chest. "It seems like you should be worrying about yourself."
She's never going to forget the feeling of being used she got when Marina demanded a heal after everything that had gone down after the snake. Or the feeling of betrayal when her healing hadn't been deemed enough. Guilt surges through every vein in her body and she wishes that she'd never echoed back those powers in the first place. She'd never gotten a chance to heal someone she liked in the first place. Just strangers and bullies.
"It must be hard to take your finals in pain..." And then she hesitates because the guilt and the betrayal are fighting each other. "... Do you need help?"
no subject
She purses her lips. "Nice in one way, but I feel like I'm slowing everyone down, and..."
Lily blinks, casting her look back to Anais. "W-well, I've been getting help with doing my work, and..." Another breath. Almost a huff, because she really is avoiding the obvious. "...I wish I didn't have to need that, or to be constantly worrying Winter, or my sister, or..."
She closes her eyes, nodding a bit. "Help would be... nice. I'm sorry, I just... I guess I'm a little too stubborn, and didn't want to overstep anything if I asked something like that..."
no subject
She'll heal Lily, hand her her books and be off to her next class, right?

Winter - Tsukuyomi Residence - June 4th
Everything that comes after that however, is an adventure if she tries to do it herself. Which is why, her hair still a dripping mess as she ducks her head out of the bathroom - wearing a robe she did at least manage to slide her right arm down the large sleeve of, even if... somewhat awkwardly - and squints.
Wait.
She probably should have checked to make sure Jasmine was nearby before she went and did that.
"...uh." She purses her lips. "Huh."
This probably could have been better planned.
no subject
So, coming toward the hallway at the sound of the door opening, she pokes her own head out.
And sees Lily doing the same, hair dripping everywhere, wearing a robe, skin glistening. She fights the immediate urge to duck back into the room she was in before, and less successfully fights the urge to stare; while looks weren't the biggest reason she chose her partner, Winter will be the first to tell you how pretty Lily is, and it's hitting her hard now for some reason. Her face colors rapidly, and she shakes her head lightly to get herself on the right track again. "I, um, ah... everything all right?"
This is perhaps the most surreal conversation she's had in months, and that's including using a mirror and her own blood to question her life choices from jail.
no subject
Lily freezes at the sight of Winter. Technically, she shouldn't be... that embarrassed right? This was her girlfriend. Almost more than that, she'd told her in no uncertain terms she wanted to spend her life with her.
There's just certain things that they'd yet to. Well. Cover. Really, there was a lot of... things left unexplored--
...well, that's probably the worst way to mentally phrase that, which Lily quickly realizes and turns red herself as she instinctively clutches the top of her robe even further closed for as little good as it does. "W-Winter!"
That ended up far louder than she intended. She tries to compose herself, fails, and manages to forget to really retreat. She just continues to... stand there. "A- ah. Um. Are you- well, are you the only one here...?"
...wait. No. That sounds even worse right now. Dammit.
no subject
The door creaks open, and Jasmine... looks between both girls. She blinks, takes out her iPhone, scrolls through something, and then sets it inside the door basket hanging on her bedroom door. A song begins to play, set to repeat.
This is the song that's playing.
no subject
...Ah, no, there they are. Oops. She manages to stammer though, "I d-don't know... um..."
And then the door opens, and it turns out Jasmine is here, and sees the situation. And then just sets her iPhone to play something totally unnecessary and leaves. Winter gapes for a second, not even able to get a word out while Jasmine's there. She just... stares at the phone, then back at Lily, then away from Lily. Back to the phone, then Lily again. "Your sister is really, really forward. S-she kind of scares me." She manages to get that out, but her eyes are drawn to Lily again. Hopefully Lily has a set of clothes to put on and deal with everything else later when she's dressed and Winter's mind won't be wandering. Right...?
no subject
She shakes a bit, not out of cold but almost sheer terror. What was Jasmine doing? Wait, she knows just what she's doing! What was Winter thinking? What did Winter see? It's no small wonder steam isn't exploding out of her ears at the sheer level her brain is suddenly overworking itself.
"Sh- sh- she- try living with her..." she stammers, finally, staring pointedly... at the ground. "B- but I sort of n-n-need her help- Clothes. Bandages. I, um." Lily should probably stop talking there. Too bad she doesn't. She's rambling. "Unless you--"
Wait, no. That's where she stops.
Probably a little late. She realizes this, wide eyed and too shocked at herself to make any corrections.
Is it too late for someone to kick down Jasmine's door?
no subject
Then she realizes what her mind's just signed her up for. Is that... really something she can do? Sure, they've shared a bed for a couple of months, and she liked to think they were close. But this was the kind of thing you only saw in a shoujo manga as a gag scene. Even if she's already committed to doing whatever she can to help, can she really do this? Is it proper? Would Lily... really want that kind of help in the first place? Jasmine is the girl's sister, so it makes sense that they already know what the other looks like. No real issue there. Winter, though... Winter doesn't know that, and by all propriety, shouldn't know that unless... um. Unless their relationship was exactly what it was.
It's not a very effective deterrent when your mind realizes your biggest stumbling block is no longer actually a problem. And while it seems like cheating, it is an effective reason. Even if it's still terribly embarrassing, and her cheeks are stained red as she works through the chain of logic, she thinks she has a satisfactory solution. She can't meet Lily's eyes as she finds the words she wants. "Can... can I help? I don't mind."
...As an afterthought, she wordlessly crosses to the door, stops the music, pops open the sticky note app, and leaves a message: Revenge will be swift and decisive. Prepare yourself. The phone returns to the door, and Winter's gaze returns to Lily, a little more sure this time.
no subject
Besides, she could manage, right? ...very slowly. Very painfully. Actually, thinking about it she probably can't manage right now, but maybe she can still beat down Jasmine's door.
"That's okay Winter, you don't have to--"
She stops abruptly again, eyes snapping up. Oh. Wait. That hadn't been a refusal from Winter's end, had it?
Her jaw just moves a bit as she sees Winter do something with her sister's phone, which means she's closer at this point. Her thoughts trip over themselves trying to rush towards anything resembling sense in her head, before she just sort of... shyly shifts her stance, turning her head as if to try and hide but only halfway looking away in the end.
"I-if you don't mind, I'd... like that."
Her face tenses again. Everything she says seems to sound bad in one way or another. "I mean- I'd appreciate it- or, I. Uh."
Maybe she should stop talking. So she just... nods.
