First, some names for you all. I'm curious to see if anybody recognizes them from echoes.

The Raging Bomber: a serial bomber. I don't know much about this one other than the name.
Ian Holden: an FBI agent. He wears sunglasses in the office, for some reason. Not the most pleasant of men.

I've asked about the bomber before, but it's been quite a while since then and now I'm able to connect more of the dots.

Second, I also have a few questions for everyone at large. This is unrelated to the above, but it came up in a conversation I had some time ago.

1. Is the fact that you're one of the people known to the public? And I do mean the public, not just your family.
2. If so, did it happen of your own volition?
3. Are you above or below the age of eighteen? No need for specifics.

Is that so? Then you must have had quite the year.

I'm one of the people who's been here the longest. It's been eventful.

Since April, then?

That's right! idk if I predated the murder of Paul Ben or not, but it was around then. Early that April.

He was a high schooler who decided to go to the police about the weird goings-ons.

[lightsoflife]

Yes, I remember reading about him - that poor boy.

[At that time, nobody must have known about the police. For him to be the first to find out...]

And his family too. I never met him, but I knew a few others by sight at least. So far seems like other people who've been taken by the police, their families weren't touched, but it's hard to be sure.

How horrible. Nobody's looked into his family since?

[espigeonage]

Well his immediate family, the people he lived with, they died in that fire. I think his other relatives are fine.

Thinking about it I think most of the others taken by the cops lived alone. Candy had a girlfriend who was okay, left the city after a few months. I forget if she was live-in or not.

I don't know which is worse, leaving family behind or leaving nobody behind. With any luck, I won't have to find out.

Yeah. My sister and her kid moved out to Kansas when things started getting more intense, in the fall. So that's a thing.

I'd do the same if I could, to be honest. Better yet, I could have taken a job in a different city.

Why can't you?

Not enough money. Simple, but still an obstacle.

[espigeonage]

Ah, right. It's tough just packing up and moving in the best of times. Are you saving up for it?

[lightsoflife]

I am, but I can only hope it won't be too late.

I won't say I'd be happy to lose you, but good luck.

Oh, I'll still be available for contact through other means. Just not this one. Small price to pay for your family's safety, wouldn't you say?

I probably should leave myself. When I left once I found people who recognized me and weren't friendly, but the real reason I'm here is my friends.

Don't let me decide your priorities. What I'm doing is hardly noble.

You're taking care of yourself. This stuff is hard.

It is. Still, I don't expect my decisions to be an example for others unless that's how you really feel.

I'm not sure how I feel! I'm not happy with this, I don't want things to stay like they are and I definitely don't want them to progress. But I don't want to leave, either.

So you want the best of all worlds? I suppose many of us do.

Yep! I'm greedy. ^_^
