For those of you who thought your stay would only be a visit; how are you managing your life outside of the city? Or...not, as it were.

It seems that I forgot to mention that I had to take a trip outside to do just that. My apologies to anyone I've worried.

For the most part! I wrote myself some notes before I left, correctly assuming that I'd have some memory troubles. Though I hardly believed them at the time.

Did you keep some of your memories this time? I did, on my most recent trip out for the full moon, along with *some* of my changes :(

Or something. Ever since Wise Snake was destroyed, it seems. Julien warned me about it, when he left the very next day. If you leave now, you may experience the same. Perhaps it was because you had left before the change occurred, and it had to be triggered again here in the city. Interesting thought.

It is still possible. It's been happening still, though not usually with any conscious will behind it. And I could see leaving the city and managing to go about one's life ignoring what little one remembered, as well. Provided you aren't a werewolf, anyhow.

Well, parts of me seem to be turning in to metal. I'm not certain that doesn't count in its own way.

That would make it difficult to avoid dealing with it even outside the city, I'll admit. Just how much has changed? If you don't mind my asking.

So long as I wear long sleeves and long pants, it's hardly noticeable.

Luckily, I haven't gone swimming in some time.

Is it difficult at all? I remember when Chris first started changing, she needed some kind of special energy thing.

For now, I seem to be well enough on standard meals. How long that lasts is anyone's guess.

It hurt while it happened, but since then...oddly enough, I feel better than ever.

Good. I know Chris was fairly well incapacitated for a while. I'd hate to hear the same had happened to you :(

I'm not sure if she contacted you, but Chris left. She went to California, I believe, before the memories began to stick a little.

As long as she's safe. She has a long future ahead of her- she'd kill me for saying this, no doubt, but I would rather it be in secluded safety than, well, this.

I'm not sure how long "this" is going to stay contained to here, and now Las Vegas Nevada, but she's probably better off elsewhere for now, at the least. I just wanted to make sure you knew.

Are you staying in that same house again, the one you had built after the whole snake infestation problem?

I'm considering such, though it'll feel empty without her there. It wouldn't be the first time I've been on my own; my home in Colorado is just me.

I can come visit as I have time, like I did before, if you'd like that. You shouldn't have to be alone *all* the time :) Though I imagine there will be other people who wouldn't mind a room to stay in now and then, either.
