003 - third luminescence ; armor and grails (backdated to 4/13)

[The feed turns on to a certain blond, standing somewhat close to the camera. She adjusts her webcam slightly before stepping back. She's dressed strangely, in what appears to be partial armor. And from the look on her face, she isn't quite sure what to make of it.]

So, I found this in my bag. I know I didn't pack it, because I don't remember having anything like this before I left. It's pretty light-weight considering [She moves around a bit to demonstrate] but I have no idea where it came from. I definitely wasn't expecting to find a breast place in my bag!

[But did the fabric underneath have to be so... tight-fitting? She felt awkward showing off her stomach and legs in something like that...]

I found something else too.

[She walks back up to the camera, reaching for something behind it, and pulling it out. A small, solid gold chalice, with simple etchings around the body of it.]

It's weird. I'm not sure what other me would have used this for, but I get this strange feeling whenever I hold it. I can't really explain. Has anyone seen anything like this? It looks like a goblet, but I can't for the life of me figure out why I would need something like this...

[She sighs.]

Anyway, I'm starting school tomorrow, and I'm a little nervous. I've never been to a public school before. What should I expect? I know there are a few people from LCHS, so some advice would be great. What teachers are good? Should I completely avoid cafeteria food? What are the need-to-know things I should, well, need to know?

So, I probably shouldn't point this out, but a breastplate like that would direct a sword directly into your heart.

Yeah it's really not a good outfit for someone who expects to be on the front lines swinging a sword.

Also I can't see you on the front lines swinging a sword.

I have a staff, so I would think not.

Maybe. I think I'd rather have robes, personally.

But the skirt... thing, is so short! And I feel really exposed!

Didn't you just say you were gonna be a cheerleader?

Yeah. What does that have to do with anything?

Pretty sure those skirts are shorter.

But that's completely different. I won't be fighting in a cheerleading outfit. Besides, cheerleading uniforms have bloomers.

You do have to do a lot of flips and stuff as a cheerleader. Although the bloomer thing I guess is an issue.

Not a full cheer squad in the same sense that most public schools have.

It's a bit different. There's a lot of tossing and getting tossed.
