002 - Second Luminescence ; your mascara's running
Who: Luci Edwards, and you!
Where: Near and around downtown
When: 4/10
What: Mad make-up kit on the lose!
Warnings: Fashion disasters all over the place
[After taking care of a few things that were essential to her re-entry into Locke--talking to someone about school options, wandering around and seeing if anyone around was hiring--Luci was exhausted. Folder full of applications tucked under her arm, she ducked into a café for a bit of a recharge.
Sitting down at a table, the blond deflated a bit, ready to relax with a book (she always kept one in her purse), maybe a cup of coffee. A giant make-up kit chasing people down on the streets.
Wait, what?
Much like the rest of the people in the café, Luci stood up, gaping at the window in time to catch a poor innocent bystander get tackled by the compact on a rampage, which slammed her against the wall.
The aftermath wasn't pretty. A human-shaped outline in different-colored powders adorning the wall, what was left was a person, dazed, their face a product of some four-year old's I-just-found-mommy's-makeup-let's-be-pretty disaster. Looking proud of itself, the kit toddled off, looking for its next makeover victim.
What in the world... She should... probably do something... Locke City, what are you doing.]

Snared in place, fighting against the magical binds, Luci took that chance to throw a Lucent Singularity at it, detonating it almost immediately. It's large enough to shield Earthy, which is pretty lucky.
It roars, which is to say, it makes a terrible screeching noise, before looking between the two. WHO TO GO FOR YOU'RE BOTH SO ANNOYING.
But so pretty, dang. Good work, make-up monster!]

What in the world?
[Glancing down at herself she almost laughs. What a day- first a weird make up kit monster, now a costume to fight it in.
Pulling Watery out, she summons the card with a twirl of her staff, Earthy coming to try and help pin the kit down.] No- no you're not going anywhere.

It struggles against the hold of Earthy and Watery, small bits falling out and trying to flee; an eyelash curler, a brush, a lipstick rolling off on the sidewalk.]

Um- Ma'am could you.. stop the brush and lipstick? [Earthy sends out a wave of rock over the eyelash curler, pounding it into the ground in what seems like a pretty solid finishing blow.]

On it!
[She throws out another snare/lucent singularity combo, detonating it and sending the two flying. She won't be able to get out too many more than this, but given that neither item is moving anymore, she might not have to.]

We did it!
[This was not what she'd thought she'd be doing today- not at all.]
Are you okay?

I'm fine, are you okay?
