[There's a brunette almost glaring at the screen when it flips on, but you just get a quick flash of the person before he's flipping the camera to a blue and navy flight suit complete with a matching helmet which is laid out on his very messy bed.]

I was going to ignore this but I guess I can't now considering this damn thing showed up on me while outside- in public... does it mean anything to anyone on here?

[He holds the phone on the suit for a moment longer before he's flipping it around to face him again. Deren has his hand up in his hair, resting heavily on it from his somewhat hunched position at his desk. The wall behind him is covered in posters and IKEA style shelving and the room he's in is pretty tiny.]

Also- anyone on here know anything about space and giant robots? I remember a few from when the snake attacked but I have no idea who they are on here and god I have a migraine- just help? [He both looks and sounds exhausted, and a little irritable.]

Not me so much as everything else around me. It has happened before with another ability I was given.

..... [He stares for a moment before finally asking.] What happened?

I have had to quietly leave many places after tearing the doors off their hinges.

Whoa! So you shoot energy from your hands and have super strength? Can you fly too?

[Okay- sorry that's cool and he's sitting up a little more at the idea of it.]

[YOU SAY THAT DEREN...but Kara laughs, oblivious to what is waiting for her in the future]

Not at the moment, although to be perfectly honest it would not surprise me! I have recalled being in space with no mechanical aids, after all.

That's lucky... that suit is tight. [And it was a pain in the ass to get out of but it at least seemed pretty durable.]

[chernobolt]

I suppose that it is practical for the tasks it was meant to be utilized in! But I am certain you will receive more amenable pulses soon.

Maybe even a large robot. That would be handy.

[chernobolt]

It would certainly make accomplishing even the most mundane of tasks very exciting!

[transcender]

[There's a soft laugh before he's nodding.] Yeah that's for sure... thanks Kara for explaining things to me.

[chernobolt]

It is no trouble at all! I am always happy to assist people wherever I can.

[Hell girl are you real? Smiling, he nods again.] If I get anything else I'd appreciate someone to talk about it with. Also if you suddenly get the ability to jump over tall buildings or fly, I want to know!

[just barely. Kara can't help but laugh a little]

I will do just that, although I hope you will not be holding your breath in the meantime! Should I inform you of any other abilities I receive, or only those associated with flight?

Any super hero powers, though we need to get you a code name- unless you already have one.

[chernobolt]

Starfire. [she tilts her head to the side and smiles] It was my name in my last life, and the one I used when I was a hero.

[transcender]

I was going to go with Firefly- but yours makes more sense if you can go into space too.

[chernobolt]

It feels...very right. I do not know if I can explain if properly! [she laughs again]

But it does not surprise me very much. There has always been a great deal of light in my names.

If it feels right, then it is right. [This thought process has gotten him in trouble in the past but he's sure a girl who can shoot power bolts from her hands can handle herself.]

[chernobolt]

Yes, that is exactly how I feel! It has been how I have been approaching a great deal of matters that have stemmed from this network, and it has served me well thus far.

Then I'll stick with that for me as well. [He smiles at that.]

Glorious! [she laughs lightly] It is not the primary reason I follow such a path, but it certainly helps that such a way of looking at things makes it difficult to overthink my choices.
