WHAT: Takane invites Haruka over to her house to play a sweet video game she echoed back.
WHEN: April 4th, mayhaps?

[It had been a long time since Haruka had felt this excited. Living a life that essentially forced him to forever abstain from video games, he was finally going to get to play one for more than a few minutes here and there. And not just any video game, some kind of incredible game that Takane had received through her echoes. A one of a kind! If that wasn't enough to leave him laying sleeplessly in his bed the night before, the fact that he'd get to see Takane's room after all this time, was. Hopefully his parents would believe that he was merely "helping her study."

The next day, as soon as Takane would come home from school, Haruka would be waiting in front of her house for him. Even though the march air is quickly warming into springtime, Haruka is still affixed with a scarf. Even so much as waiting outside for a few minutes needed extra precaution when it comes to Haruka's fragile state. As soon as the two make it inside, Haruka has an enormous grin plastered across his face as he pulls off his jacket and scarf..]

I was beginning to think you'd never show up! Well then, I guess we're heading to your room this time, huh?

That's a good attitude to have! [He swings himself around, scanning the room once more.]

So, where are we gonna play the game you got?

[Points to her bed to indicate that he should sit down while she scrambles to set shit up.]

You want me on the bed? Alright! [Haruka does as she says and plops himself down on her bed, laying back on it almost immediately.]

Oh wow, your bed is so much comfier than mine. No wonder you hang out in here so much! [A laugh, followed by a rather loud yawn.]

Don't fall asleep in there!

[she hears that yawn SHE JUST MEANT SIT ON IT THIS IS TOO FAR.]

[He laughs it off, lifting one of his hands and waving it at her.]

Don't worry, don't worry! I came here to play video game after all!

...We can always save napping for later, anyways!

...I'll make you go home before I do that.

[Because as he's definitely learned by now she needs a nap not long after school.]

[Are you sure you'll have time to with the way you fall asleep, Takane? He fakes a pout.]

Booo, so mean, Takane. You have this comfy bed and you're not even willing to share it a little!
[Let's take a moment to realize that Haruka is dumb and naive and has no idea about the implications of what he just said.]

[CHOKES ON SPIT AND SCREAMS INTERNALLY.]

I mean, you'll get over it...!

Hehehe, I'm kidding, I'm kidding! [She really is kind of funny when she gets worked up, though he's not quite sure why she's so protective of her bed.]

I'll do my best not to fall asleep on your bed! Promise! [With that, he sits up with a sleepy kind of grin.]

Game ready?

[Give her a second...]

Okay. Yeah. All ready.

[She hands him a controller, holding one herself as she's sort of...hovering near her bed but not really making a move to sit anywhere.]

[He holds the controller a little awkwardly from inexperience.]

Hmmm, so it's like a shooting game? I am with this and shoot with...[He messes with the controls for a bit, and then turns to Takane, patting the bed next to him.]

Hey, aren't you gonna sit down?

...Move over a little first.

[She'll...help him with the game in a minute.]

Oops, sorry! Don't mean to be a bedhog...[He scootches over as per his request.]

Now like I said, forgive me if I'm not so good...

[OKAY she's sitting herself down now.]

I just need to be able to play it at all, really. Because it requires two people.

[As soon as the game starts, Haruka's character immediately starts spinning in circles shooting at the air. It's a pretty embarrassing sight, really. But he seems to be having a lot of fun with it. Eventually, he finally kills one of the cute, cuddly adversaries.]

Hey! I got o--Oh my gosh this a lot more violent than I expected! That poor teddy bear...

It's not real, so you don't have to worry about its feelings.

[Takane is kicking his ass pretty badly.]

It does seem kind of excessive, but whatever.

I know it's not real...[Poutpout. He keeps trucking on, his reflexes not quite good enough to aim precisely at any of the critters in his path. A sense of familiarity starts to come over him, somewhat distracting him from the task at hand. Has he seen these things before?]

Um, yeah, I agree though, I definitely wasn't expecting--Ah! I killed another one! I think I'm doing pretty goo--Oh. [He just looked at her screen and found out she has killed many more than two enemies.]

I know you said you were good at video games, but wow! You're seriously amazing!

[Him being impressed by it is still weird to her...but in an admittedly good way.

And well...finally they get a shot of the villain. Takane nearly drops her controller from shock.]

That's...that's me.

[drawitagain]

[Blinkblinkblink. Looks at Takane. Looks at the boss character. Back to Takane. Back to the character.]

It...could be a coincidence...?

[Haruka winces like he was just bopped in the head by a wifflebat]

No, it can't be. Her face is the same, and...I think this is the game I remember you playing in my memories, but why would you be playing a game with yourself as the villain...?

[He runs his fingers through his hair frustratedly. Something is definitely coming back to him, but he can't quite piece it together yet.]

Why would I be the villain of a game in general...

[drawitagain]

Wait...Wait, I know why!

[Haruka suddenly shoots up to his feet.]

Because of me...! Because, because I drew all of this!

[tatatarata]

You did?!

Why would you make me the villain?!

[drawitagain]

B-Because I drew it with people challenging you in mind, so...!

Don't be mad! [He quickly shields himself with his arms.]

I just--I just got one of the pulse things...I remember drawing all of the art for this game...We all made it together!
